Qantas double SCs

Thanks, Heleigh, and others who have replied. I may add our Australian address back in our profile - it may or may not make a difference for the next DSCs promo (if there is). Hope we will have more luck next time!

Awesom Andy did respond that he has a SIN address and has received the offer so location is not the issue. My first offer was in 2009 and have been waiting till this one - three years apart - had a friend who received every one last year as well as this one. Lucky of the draw. Hopefully you'll get one next time.

I've been a member since 96, have been a WP or WP+ for the last 7 & prior to that gold for many a year - this is my very first DSC offer.

Hi Myrna agree with DeKa but I think you have a valid question is it only for AUS address. Have any AFF'ers with OS address received the offer now or in pass:?: If it is address related maybe try putting an additional AUS one (if poss.).
There is no way to know who the offer was made to, other than it was random. Anything else is little more than idle speculation.

Some have never had an offer and others have had several. Goes to show how random the process really is.

Thanks, for the consolation! We keep our fingers and toes crossed for being offered next round. Hubby was targetted once years ago, but he did not realise the importance of the offer so he did not take it up then. Now, he wished they would offer him again - as he has not been doing business trips. We are now living in London, so we can get reasonably cheap fares with BA to the US and do the runs there in June to San Juan, Puerto Rico and other US cities! (cost 1200 pounds for 500SCs).

Nope

Take advantage of this offer:

Simply register and book by 30 June 2012

Fly on any eligible* Qantas International or Domestic flight (i.e. with a QF flight number on your ticket where Status credits are normally earned) from April through June 2012 as well as August 2012 for International travel.

however, the email says something different as does the registration confirmation as per this post, #46

when you register, book and travel from April through June 2012. You can also book international flight for travel during August 2012.

These offers only applies to QF metals plus perhaps a handful of code share flights so they wouldn't give you any benefits for US runs. However, it might entice you to take a trip down under, and do a few domestic flights on JASA. :)

Thanks, Awesom Andy. Yes, you are right. We do the runs to get hubby his plat again - reset early next year. We will have to do 4 QF flights, so hope to do that at the end of this year when we come back to Oz for a visit, and do some JASA! We thought if we got the double SCs offer, then we might come back to Oz before the end of the year for a visit instead. Still, hubby will have to do some JASA to keep his plat next year.

Just starting a JASA with double status credits. We book quite a way ahead so only the unplanned trips qualify for April to June for me. My partner did not get an offer but it is helpful for me as my year started from April for status credits.

Can confirm that HWMBO also just had the DSC credits posted.

EDIT: this was for flights on Saturday last.

Just got mine too, for flights on the 17th and 18th of April., wow that was barely a week ago!

QF IT department placing a call to Redroo "have you just put something on Australian Frequent Flyer again, our servers are going crazy with the log ins"
Redroo "no, I bet the double status credits have posted"
QF IT department " so much for my early mark then"

I've just had mine posted for flights on the 11th, 13th (I think) and 17th. It says "DOUBLE STATUS CREDITS PROMOTION 23APR12", so I suspect that a pass was done on the 23rd and posted today. Interestingly, it doesn't identify the flights in question as I've had a few flights since those that I suspect haven't yet earnt the x2 credits.

The page hits will be nothing compared to if Red Roo posts about the lounge situation at LHR for QC members :p

Well done to those who received the offer (of which I wasn't one this time) and making use of them.
