Qantas double SCs

I just want to comment on the power of this site.
I did receive an email from Qantas regarding double SC, but I never noticed the email.
After reading through some of these messages on AFF, I decided to review my emails and I found the original, this was after a few weeks and some flight bookings.
It would have been a struggle obtaining WP status, but with the double SC that I should now receive, it should now be a breeze.
Thanks to all that contribute to this site.

I am off to check the forum rules, I am pretty sure missing a double SC email is a ban worthy offence :)

Remember to register first. Flights booked prior to registration will not earn the double SCs.

Edit: I need to correct this. Registration must be within the campaign period, not necessarily prior to the flights.

I'm pretty sure that all flights earn regardless of when registration takes place. At least that is my recollection of one of the posts from Red Roo in this thread.

Correct Medhead. As long as you register within the campaign period (even if it is the last day), DSC will be earned.

Cheers,
Red Roo

My apologies. I take it all back. I didn't realise that it doesn't matter when you register, as long as it's within the campaign period.

Just don't forget to register though. ;)

No apology required. Previous offers have required rego prior to flying.

So you can register at any time, but the DSC only applies to flights booked in the promotional period?

Received the email and registered but all my flights were already booked :(.

Can someone please tell me what the subject line of the double status credits offer email was? I've been in Antarctica without email so I've got a ton to go through.

Actually I thought the subject was cough, casino, won the lottery, hot stock tips, hi or something similar, that should narrow it down

Does anyone know if double SCs are still awarded if a family member uses points to book a JASA for me?
