Qantas double SCs

Anyone suggest any way of me optimising the chances of getting a double SC offer, as my anniversary is soon approaching?

* Pray to $DEITY
* Cross Fingers
* Perform a voodoo ritual
* Participate in a Buddhist double status credit offer ceremony
* All of the above

Seriously though, no one knows. It's luck of the draw really (although i'm sure QF do target it, we'll never know how it is targeted exactly).

Has anyone else noticed that flights (sCs and points) don't post to FF account as quickly as the past? Tuesday's flight is yet to post, let alone double SCs. Last week's double SCs are yet to post.

Yes, Have certainly noticed that SC's are taking longer than usual the last 3 weeks to post. Which is a pain as im awaiting SC's get me to WP1 status :)

Flights in July (both domestic and foreign) don't qualify for double SC's.

Remember you will earn double Status credits^ on all eligible* International and Domestic Qantas flights when you book and travel from April through June 2012. You can also book International flights from April through June for travel during August 2012.

You mean post #775 is an example of how random it is? At least now I know what SWMBO means. :)
Actually, it implies that it is not random - they are trying to encourage a BIS Qualified SG to fly more with Qantas.

Myself, who had nearly re-qualified WP at the time received no such offer.

There be no indication of any randomness with that.

If I book an international flight this week (August) and travel in August, do I receive double sc's? The conditions are a little confusing

Depends on what your offer says - if you can post it then people can comment on the interpretation as there has been a number of these DSC offers recently

Just an update on DSC posting for the original offer. HWMBO had received the initial offer (flights till end June 12 and international flights in August booked during the promo period). He took an AKL-BNE last Thursday and those DSCs posted this morning. It's pushed him over to WP for the first time. He's mid-trip at the moment and I got a very excited picture message with a screen shot of his new status...followed by a picture of his boarding pass just in case I didn't believe him. ;)

So the upshot...the DSCs still seem to be posting fairly quickly.

Please help me clarify.

If I took off in June and returned in July do I get double for both?
I have received double SC for my June flight, but my return on the same ticket in July did not post?

Subject to what your individual offer says I believe you would get single SC for the July flight.

Redslert, my son had a double SC offer. He flew to the UK in June and came back in July. Got double SC only for the June flight.

Double SCs is a wonderful thing if you fluke a month or 3 months of it. It is not a given and it should be treated by you as having won a prize.

Certainly [-]was[/-]will be* a prize for me - P1 was the prize!

* For the record I have yet to attain P1 but booked travel has me three sectors away from qualification
