Still nothing… :(

I've had my double status credits post on May 5 from my flight between Singapore and Australia on May 3. Coincidentally my flights to Singapore on the same booking over the weekend (April) have not posted yet.

Received mine for 3rd May flights yesterday. Nothing for flights before (or after that) yet.

Double checked, Mrs excel and I definitely have the registration confirmation email.
So I guess we are waiting for an arbitrary big sweep of the outstanding ones from April?

Please remind me How long are we supposed to wait before following up with excellent, helpful Qantas customer service staff?

Still waiting for DSCs from 5 April and 9 April

You have to wait at least 8 weeks after travel before contacting the service centre. They will likely show up before then.

My flights on the 6th May and DSC posted on the 7th May........ there was IRROPs on my flight/s taken on the 7th May, DSC have not posted for these yet, I expect I will need further manual intervention.

I wonder if the Novotel across the terminal has 24x7 bar/restaurant to spend couple of hours. I have like 4 hours between the incoming and outgoing status run flights.

As side comments, QF F isn't much to boast about. Unless it has had reno. My 'go-to' lounge in AKL is the EK one. Their opening hours will link to their flights

At Auckland I think no (it was pretty dead when I was there at 1am the other day)

It’s great to hear that DSC are posting for some folks, but I don’t understand the random postings for random dates? Saw it mentioned in an earlier post that May 11th was the magic date last year. Crossing fingers it happens by then this year as well.

I don't think anyone has received their early-mid April DSC yet - we're all waiting.
That’s what I mean re: random postings for random dates. Just doesn’t seem logical… but then again, might just be the work experience kids at play?

Actually it seems very logical to me - the automated posting of DSC started happening in late April, and people have been consistently receiving DSC within a few days since then.

It's the retrospective batch posting for flights earlier than that which hasn't happened yet. I expect it will happen in the coming week or two.

(It is annoying that Qantas hadn't set up the automated posting for the start of the promotion. It's not like they haven't run this promotion before..)

Fair enough. Looking back on recent posts, you’re right. Seems it’s been relatively consistent barring a few exceptions.

Agreed. You’d have thought this process was pretty well defined by now. Wonder if those who opted for DFF points are experiencing similar, or if it’s just the DSC brigade?

I work in IT in application management. A basic script to process something like 2x DSC would be a script written years ago by a developer who probably no longer works there @ Qantas.

The script which would process these offers would be what you call a batch job which is run on an adhoc basis considering the unsurety of the promotion.

Anyway the script which runs would probably entail all the conditions required to fulfill the conditions of the promotion i.e select all Users who signed up for the promotion between date A+B etc etc. Logically Id think they would run this job perhaps 1 month after the promo ends, on a sunday night at 9pm etc. Depending how CPU intensive this job is its probably running in batches of QFF Numbers ranges to limit CPU load etc etc.

We could probably figure this out if someone posted QFF # with dates points applied but in general the point is that fixing a script which works is time intensive and these guys are probably already understaffed working on multiple projects so you dont just assign engineers on 200k+ to rewrite a script which works fine.
