Apologies if this has been asked/confirmed in another thread; are Emirates flights with a QF flight code not included in the DSC?

I've received standard status credits only, and wasn't sure if its something to chase up.

Thanks in advance
I got burnt by the same issue. Qantas is very good at promoting the Double Status/Points - not so great in explaining that Emirates flights (even if under a QF flight code) are excluded. The wording in the promotion material at best is ambiguous - if not a little misleading - but if you do scroll to the very bottom of the website promotion, in the small T&C's - although Emirates is not explicitly mentioned, there is enough there to suggest these flights are ineligible for the bonus status/points.

It's a total pain, but you just have to be creative to maximise what you can get out of it. In my case for a return trip to Cairo I'm going to be booking QF-operated DPO-MEL-SYD-QF1 to SIN then pickup Emirates from there (on QF flight numbers) to DXB then on to CAI and return the same way. With a DSC on the QF-operated flights and the SC's earned on the Emirates flights with QF flight number it all totals exactly 600 SC's - gold retained for another 12 months.

It's literally stated in the third FAQ with the last DSC promo - you don't even have to scroll down to read the T&Cs if you don't want to:

  • What flights are available for this offer?

Australian Domestic and International Qantas operated flights with a ‘QF’ flight number booked between 23 March and 28 March 2023. Double Qantas Points or double Status Credits will not be earned on some fare types and booking classes. See Airline Earning TableOpens in a new tab or window for details.

I think that's abundantly clear.

It is. The starting point for any of these promos is that it’s QANTAS metal. If you can find wording which says something different that expands the reach of the promo then great.

you're kidding right? it's very clear its only QF metal. and its been like that for a number of years.

It's up and running, double status credit or double points book by 27th Feb.
Having trouble registering though. Both on app and website.

Book an eligible Qantas marketed and operated flight by 11.59pm (AEDT) 27 February 2024, for travel between 28 February 2024 and 14 February 2025.

Qantas marketed and operated means your ticket has a Qantas code (QF), and you are flying on a Qantas aircraft. QF flights operated by Finnair for Qantas (QF291, QF292, QF295 and QF296) will be eligible for this offer.
