As long as your changes keep the original PNR, and your flights are within the validity period, you will be right.
Ok - thanks, what about different sectors, ie: I was going DRW-MEL-ADL, if I now got DRW-ADL direct would that work?

As long as the changes keep the original PNR - and normally they do - it will work. If you change to a direct flight you get SCs and DSCs on the direct flight only.

Ok, seems quiet flexible - so keeping the PNR and flying within the original conditions of DSC offer is important - understood!

So if re-ticketing is required, confirming it is all sweet so long as PNR remains the same..??

Yes - retaining the booking / PNR is the important thing here; tickets can be reissued along the way for various reasons, but that doesn’t affect eligibility.

Cheers,
Matt.

Has anyone had double points instead of status credits appear? My wife assures me she clicked the double status credits option but her postings suggest otherwise.

Qantas have asked for “proof” that she did so but they don’t seem to send a confirmation email and it’s certainly not the type of thing I’d think to screenshot although maybe we need to in future! Come to think of it, did anyone else grab a screenshot?

I did get an email

I generally grab a screenshot and post it In the relevant thread, so I know I’m covered, in case I don’t get (or accidentally delete) the confirmation email

Anyone care to wager whether the Finnair-operated flights between SYD and SIN will qualify?
I don't see why they wouldn't. They should be treated the same way as any other flight that is operated for Qantas. Just like the 8 E190s QQ operates for QF.

I feel they should too but am not the most confident that their IT systems will credit these flights automatically, since the operating carrier technically isn't Qantas.

technically flights on QantasLink aren't operated by Qantas.

Someone earlier in the thread said that second lot of DSCs usually posted quicker than the first. this was the case for me.
My second round of flights for DSC on 1 and 4 June just posted the bonus credits on 5 and 6 June respectively (first flight bonuses posted after 47 days).
Wife and I had a lovely mini-break in Cairns that got me over the line to gold until late 2024 👍

Howdy. I'm still waiting for DSC from April 17 and 21 (so seven weeks ago). I understand they can take up to 8 weeks to be credited this year. However, my experience from other years was that they landed within hours of flying!

I emailed Qantas a week or so after my flights (as, at the time, I was expecting them to land almost immediately).

Does anyone know why they aren't credited almost immediately anymore? And what will happen (and what should I do) if they don't land this week (falling outside the stated 8-week timeline)?

I was hoping they would have landed by now, as they'll push me into platinum before a flight this weekend!

Some have been crediting quite quickly.

Some of the April flights haven’t been so quick. There’s not much you can do till the 8 weeks are up to chase up the DSC.
