Qantas double status credits: Register & book between 12-18 March 2025

My PER-MEL-PER (19/3 - 23/3) DSCs just came through. A little late, but never mind.

Given my forward bookings made in the DSC booking window, I should (for a membership year ending 30 Nov):
Retain G by end-Apr;
Get P by end-Sep; and
Get LTG by end-Sep.

I's a 'appy bunny!
Nice!

If I can repeat this year for the next three years then LTG is a real possibility for me - stupidly tonight I looked up how many SC's needed for LTP and quickly realised that was not going to happen!

Ah OK - ex MEL or another city?
I saw ex BNE on sale in J for over $2800. I’ve done SYD-MEL-DPS for less than $1800 from memory, but that was in 2018 when I did it twice for two holidays on DSC.

MEL/SYD/BNE J prices to Bali are all Global Deal rather than Red Tail Sale

Hi guys, I have a trip that was booked during the promo but the 1st flight was the past Monday which was before the fly window opened, however return was last Wednesday which is the 1st day of the fly window. I know my outbound flight wouldn’t be eligible for DSC due to timing, but would my return flight got DSC?
Just reporting back that my DSC just got posted yesterday, but obviously only for the return flight that was flown after the promo fly window opens.

Spoiler: the fight club ending is exactly what how it always used to be 🤗
well done, but the flight seems to be a bit soon to require the .... I hate to say it ... fight club rule isn’t it? Couldn’t book it just normally during DC promo.?

I'm curious too... now that we now DSC's are posting on a regular basis, I'd love to hear if this is still the case. Given the T&C's explicitly mentioned that only the original sectors would post, they could well have taken a snapshot/copy of all eligible bookings and using that as the basis on which to credit - perhaps those that travelled earlier in the window pre-empted this process and had their revised bookings captured instead.

Or it could have just been a bluff/technical incompetence...

The T&C have updated with more text and stipulation every offer, but so far seems like nothing actually changes.
