Is anyone seeing >72 hours for DSC to post? I had a couple of QantasLink / National Jet flights on Thursday I’m still waiting on.
The intern has to have a couple of days off sometime! Is anyone seeing >72 hours for DSC to post? I had a couple of QantasLink / National Jet flights on Thursday I’m still waiting on.
I’m up to five weeks for two flights. Is anyone seeing >72 hours for DSC to post? I had a couple of QantasLink / National Jet flights on Thursday I’m still waiting on.
I feel your pain, waiting for some QBR points for some hotel stays to post so as I can delete them off my spreadsheet - I rang them at five weeks trying to get them posted but got told nope - ring back if they haven't posted after week 9... The points for the same stays posted after four weeks to my personal account, so I find the nine week thing to be ridiculous - its not like they are going to earn interest on the points in the meantime.I’m up to five weeks for two flights.
But these were PC+ CRs for which the base SCs did not post automatically.
It seemed almost inevitable I’d have to wait the eight weeks and follow up.

You can split passengers to separate bookings, but make sure you split the other passenger off so they get the new PNR and you retain the one with DSC.Hoping someone can confirm this is possible for me. I currently have a DSC international CR booking for me and another. Can I split the booking, keeping the same PNR for myself, so I can add a couple of domestic flights to the same booking and get DSC on them?
No guarantee, but from memory my split carried DSC to both. You can split passengers to separate bookings, but make sure you split the other passenger off so they get the new PNR and you retain the one with DSC.

Anecdotally, if you retain the PNR that was created during the promotion booking period, eligible flights flown under that PNR during the promotional "Flying" period will credit as Double. If (and I know it might be a big if) I was able to find suitable replacement flights at CR rates, do people think I could cancel or change the existing booking and maintain the PNR and double SCs? And should that be doable online, or would I have to call QF?
Hi all
My question relates to the issue of changing or cancelling a DSC booking and maintaining the original PNR. It’s a follow-up to the fabulous information @Ade provided at post 1119 of the earlier DSC promo thread.
It’s about cancelling a Classic Rewards DSC flight booked as a PC member, and whether we would keep our PNR and still receive DSCs if we rebooked a replacement reward flight (within the promo period).
Background is that we booked a CR journey CBR-MEL-SYD-CHC in J. Total travel time was 9 hours. A few days ago our CBR-MEL flight was pushed back 45 minutes, and I felt this change made us certain to breach MCT at either MEL or SYD. I told the premium operator that I thought domestic MCT at MEL was 40 minutes, but she assured me it was 30, and booked accordingly.
Then we got a call about the MCT (40 minutes) and had to change again. Given the lack of options CBR-MEL, our trip is now CBR-ADL-SYD-CHC, and a total travel time of 13 hours. I like a status run and some time in lounges, but this is too long a day for me.
If (and I know it might be a big if) I was able to find suitable replacement flights at CR rates, do people think I could cancel or change the existing booking and maintain the PNR and double SCs? And should that be doable online, or would I have to call QF?
Losing a few thousand points on a change or cancellation fee would not be a problem.
Cheers,
