Qantas FF and Woolworths create new loyalty alliance

Has anyone ever had the situation where they have scanned their card, the receipt shows you will earn at least at least xx Qantas Frequent flyer points, the fuel savings offer is on the card but the transaction does not appear anywhere on the Everyday Rewards account or transferred to QFF?

Very very strange.

I had a purchase at Woolworths on 1/05/2011 and redeemed the fuel offer today but the transacton for the purchase isn't anywhere to be seen. I normally do not check the fine details of what has posted or not and I stumbled on to this one by accident. How many other times has this happened?

does anyone know whether there is a max to the number of additional cards i can apply for under my account?

You can add 4 cards to share the fuel discount below a master 5th card, but points are not shared, just fuel discounts.

If you're looking just to give "your" card to others... Photocopy the back of the card and it'll work.

With only hours until the bonus offer email's are sent out, I only have one question...

After 3 weeks without any significant shopping at the woolworths group, due to no loyalty offers from WW. I wonder if my loyalty be required this week...:?:

So strange I now find myself on the nose to them, was getting weekly offers for over six months, now SFA...

It happens. You were extremely lucky for 6 months. Some of us have not had offers for months on end.

hmm...I get them almost every sunday night without fail - I can't work out how their email database is so patchy - lots of people on here don't seem to get offers which seems crazy if you are woolies

this morning got one of those 'spend $90, earn 150 bonus points, spend 150, earn 400 bonus points" which I will definitely take up

I have 2 keyring cards, a normal everyday rewards card and the woolworths credit card. I nominated to recieve points instead of petrol discounts. I am assuming that all cards works for points at the shops and for petrol.

am I right

I attempted to get off the Woolies Liquor offers I had been receiving all year by not activating the last offer 3 weeks ago. Since then I haven't bought any liquor in woolies and have swiped my card for all grocery purchases to try and trigger a different type of offer. I got a different offer alright - nothing, no offers at all  Oh well, that strategy didn't work :(

I am pretty sure that this confirms that if you don't accept / activate / use an offer then they snub you for a while. In effect they are loyal until you are not....

This just be my opinion but I do recall not accepting an offer around a month ago, since then the offers have only just started to come back...

Not meaning to be rude but you actually believe Woolworths (or any company for that matter) have sophisticated programming that works out whether you activated an offer or not and then penalises you for a month and then slowly starts to send you offers again?

It is random! Perhaps there are some triggers in the poor programming code but mainly random....

I think there might be greater importance placed on the activation of the offer rather than actually using the offer (which is a bit odd). Quite a few times this year I activated the woolies liquor offer, but then didn't actually make a purchase, however each week the offers kept coming. The first time I didn't activate it seemed to be the trigger to the offers stopping. I wonder how long my punishment will last for

I'm not sure whether this is something different or not...

... within 24 hours of buying some breath mints (can't remember the brand), I had an email offering bonus points to buy some more, within the week.

Spooky :o

it is not random, if it was then there would not be people getting them 22 weeks out of 25, likewise there would not be people getting zero.

If you think it is totally random, then you think the barcode in your pocket, and the encrypted code on the offer activation link is all just mumbo-jumbo...?

Seriously, big brother knows more about you than you think and those guy's don't work to a random plan...!

EDIT: All these numbers and codes must be there to track who is doing what, hell what do we all think the /track? means...!
