My understanding from it was you had to spend a minimum amount at each store, e.g. $30 for Big W, BWS, $50 for Duck Smuths, etc.
Yes. But do they have to be 3 stores with different brands or just 3 stores.

Overall there are 3 promos:
700 points for pruchases at 3 stores
X points for $50 of fresh food
X points for a purchase from big w catalog

For me weekly shop is one store and probably the fresh food - tick. Beer from BWS tick. Leaving $30 from big w for the 3rd store and catalog purchase. But I don't need to spend $30 at big w. So i could just get what I need and make another purchase of something I need at another woolies.

Phone/Broadband recharges are a good option from Big W if you need to hit the limit and have something useful. The 10% off for some carriers is a bonus.

Strange that nobody is mentioning going out of their way for the Campbell's Soup promotion :p
Campbells soup is in the domain of SWMBO. Besides telling her which card(s) to use and loading/unloading. I don't interfere in that domain. ;)

Ahh yes. I understand ;). Mrs NM likes to keep some Campbell's Cream of Asparagus soup in the pantry for her Tuna Casserole - now why is that whenever I think of Tuna Casserole I imagine Vinnie Barbarino and Arnold Horshack running away and Gabe Kotter shaking his head?

[is the mention of Vinnie Barbarino enough to remain on topic for a thread involving Qantas?]

Received a 500 pts for 2 brands offer.
(Have only used card at Woolies and DM for the one-off Xmas offer, so assume it is targeted based on previous store usage).

Rest of offers the same
Yes this is the one I just got. Then my points for the last quarter are zero-problem when working in Tassie.

What is not clear is if the 3 shops promotion requires 3 different brands (i.e. Woolworths, Big W and BWS) or just 3 different stores (i.e. 3 different Woolworths stores). I assume its the latter, but its not clear.

From the T & C;s

You must spend over the relevant qualifying amount at each of the 3 Woolworths retail partners (Relevant qualifying amount is over $30 in one transaction at Woolworths supermarkets and liquor [excluding Tasmania], BWS stores [Excluding Tasmania], BIG W or spend over $50 in one transaction at Duck Smith stores [Excluding franchisee and reseller stores]). This offer can only be redeemed once during the offer period.

I have hardly used my EDR card in the last few months as i have been away so often, no need for it whilst away!

It doesn't seem to be as I got 3 stores offers before (when some got 2) when I'd only been to the 1 Woolworths brand (Smiths and Big W, no need for anything, and no idea where the nearest BWS as there are none around; they're all Woolworths Liquor - now why don't they ever have a promo for that store?!)

Yipee!! My offer arrived . 2 stores for 500 pts plus Campbells soup etc. No idea how they target this. Up until a month ago I had my EDR attached to a hotmail account I never opened. All of my 15,000 FF points in last 12 months gained at Woolies. No spend at Duck Smuth or Liquor - big spend at Dan Murphy's not gaining FF points:(

That DSE offer on the GPS for $137 is not a special offer that I can see - it's listed on the shelf in DSE at that price.

Online it does show at the inflated price unless you use the link, then again Officeworks have the unit for $2 extra.

Ok, dumb question here, but what exactly does Woolies define as Fresh food? Does it include all the usual suspects - ie/ fruit and veg, meat, seafood, deli or are there any exclusions?

The offer says: "simply spend $50 or more in one transaction on fresh items from our Fruit and Vegetable, Meat, Deli, Seafood or Bakery departments to receive 500 extra Qantas Frequent Flyer points."

Thanks, like I said dumb question  If I had activated the offer I would have seen that info.

Well I just knock off woolworths and big w today for the 3 stores offer. Just looking at the big w receipt and there is no mention of my everyday rewards card on there, like on the woolies receipt that lists the number and the points earnt

Does anyone know if Big W lists includes a note to say that the everyday rewards card was used on their receipts?

Does matter if no one knows as i just have to wait 3 days to see if it lists on the website.

my Big W receipt from today shows the following after the sales total:

4.0 CENTS PER LITRE OFF FUEL SAVING
OFFER HAS BEEN ADDED TO YOUR
EVERYDAY REWARDS ACCOUNT
CARD 9344xx_xx_xx_

So that confirms my card was recorded for this transaction. Not sure what happens for transactions less than $30.
