I got the following offer this week:

When you spend at least $20 on skincare products with yourEveryday Rewards card this week

Spend
$20 - $29 100 points
$30 - $39 150 points
$40 or more 250 points

Last week I got the following for spending on anything:

Spend
$90 - $119 150 points
$120 - $149 200 points
$150 or more 350 points

I had been away for a couple of weeks, so maybe they missed me :P

Looks like the quarterly promo that ended up with a weekly 700 pt deposit has come to an end! I wonder if it was a weekly programmed sweep until the end of July to check where there was qualifying activity that had been credited and should not have been one on each account once it found a positive match?

There seems to be a total disconnect between the EDR site and QFF. According to EDR they have transferred 2094 points to my QF account since June , QF statement show 7691 points. I still seem to be getting 500 bonus points per week. At this rate I might even get enough points from Woolies to actually book a flight! :D

Anyway..have just ticked over 14,000 points from Everyday Rewards. Not a bad little bonus gained not changing my shopping habits too much. My total spend as Safeways/Woolworths would still be much the sames as Coles is not that convenient for me anyway, and I rarely shopped there.

Have taken advantage of some of the bonii, but not all, as many did not offer value for me. Main deals I have gone out of my way for have been some of the multi-store bonii. If another store ( ie my greencrocers) offers better price/quality I still shop there.

Also even though DSE is a point earner, I have made most of my electrical/electronic purchases elsewhere as much better prices can generally be had elsewhere, and $$ saved was much better option that few extra QFF points.

Now if QFF could just sign up a few more new bonus partners.....

I haven't received any offers for about 3 weeks.

Did well from the bonus offers for July though. Maybe future offers will be targetted at more infrequent shoppers

I've found that the DSE's in my area have no issue price matching advertised prices (for retail shops anyway, not for online competitors) even though they don't actively promote it. Given they have no surcharges for AMEX either and they also take Wish cards (which are easy enough to buy for a 5% discount from various places) the QFF points are just cream on top.

This week I received another offer (that's three weeks in a row! ). For me it's 2 points per dollar spent in the meat department, with no minimum - and that's on top of the 1 point per dollar for spending over $30 as well. I guess I'll have to look if there's anything actually worth buying for once. :)

I got that stupid BWS rewards thing, where you buy selected products and can win a once in a lifetime experience. I have a cold though, so beer isn’t going to help!

Yes I agree.

But:

  • online items like camera batteries etc camera memory, computer cables, phone chargers etc I find dramatically cheaper.
  • The computers I have wanted DSE did not have.. (bought a netbook from JB on special which was cheaper than event the cheap Electroncs stores with 4 points per$ bonus with Citibank)
Yes I do by Gift Cards via API

I do buy some stuff from DSE though. ie they had a great iPod Special, and some of their game clearances are great value.

So I guess in large part it depends what an individual wants to buy.

Strange as I have not had an offer in over a month.

No big deal as most offers I get sent are useless anyway....

Not sure if anyone knew (seeing as I’ve been out of the loop for about 7 weeks), but there’s a Woolworths Everyday Rewards app for the iPhone. Basic functionality, but does show you where the nearest petrol station is and how many fuel offers you have left :)

Thanks samh004 for pointing out the iPhone app. Went to load but get an error message:

"Application Not Compatible.

This application requires the iPhone 4.0 Software Update"

Whoops, haven't sync'ed the iPhone for a while. Might be the problem .

Yes my daughter who had received an extra 700 has had it reversed.
With mine where there were no extras, there is no change.

While I don't mind them reversing the error, they could have had the decency to communicate that they were going to do that.

I thought a few people had many multiples of 700 credited, that could get messy of they tried to take them all back and you’d used them already.

You need to connect your iPhone to your computer, open iTunes and download the software update available for it, which should be 4.0.2. Though I think you have a 3G, and I’ve heard conflicting reports on whether iOS 4 is good for 3G iPhones. I have no problems on my 3Gs, but my model is the one just above.
