That’s not bad, Dan’s has that for $11.50, wonder what it is at BWS… will have to go down tomorrow!

I don't know how much it is at BWS, but I wouldn't be expecting them to be doing much in the way of favours on price.

Picked it up for $14.66, less if you buy 6 or more, as usual, but only one lot of points valid so only bought 1 bottle. It has joined the Moet, Tatt, Veuve, Heidsieck and other sparklings in the cellar.

I could have used it too. I got the seafood offer, but I rarely buy seafood at Woolworths.

First time I’ve bought seafood in a while, and my sister was quick to use her card that wasn’t given the offer (or at least she doesn’t know as she never looks at the emails she gets from them)!

Managed the 100 points for the Vivant though so I’m OK.

That's blasphemous! $15 sparkling has no place along side Taittinger, Heidsieck or other good Champagnes. Note that the Moët should also not be near them (and if the Heidsieck is Piper and not Charles, it shouldn't either) :P

It’s a big cellar, there’s adequate spacing and different shelves ;) :p

I'd go as far as to say, it shouldn't even be purchased, let alone cellared (sorry I don't drink many sparkling wines, with the exception of the Chandon Vintage, which is acceptable, but at around $40 a bottle, I'd stick to real bubbly, say Cattier :))

The Pol Gessner bubbly is now $32 at Woolies in a 6 bottle buy. Have stocked up for the Shrek family Xmas entertaining and also added to my QFF balance :)

I’ve never tried it, so just wanted to, considering it gave me a bonus 100 points too, it was quite a good deal. Doubt I’ll buy it again though, I have been stocking up on duty free Taittinger for a reason ;)

Note that Woolworths are matching the double fuel discount offer for Coles, for those with a discount to miles preference on their card, I would suggest picking up the odd paper voucher.

Sorry to say I don't really like the Pol Gessner. I think I saw Moet NV advertised at Dan's for $49 a bottle in a half dozen. Personally, I'd probably splash out on the extra $100, if I could get permission from SWMBO.

Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut NV is on special at Dan Murphys for $45.90 in any six purchase, or $48.30 per bottle. Offer ends, close of business on Sunday.
I'm off to buy my Xmas champagne.

Woollies have stopped sending me emails after 2 months of no use during our trip.
Fortunately as I am in Tassie which Woollies doesn't think is part of australia Coles have stepped up their offers-triple flybuys + 8c off fuel voucher this weekend.

Just went past a Woolworths liquor in Adelaide. same Moet for $49.99 in a half dozen, but big sign to say an extra 5% off for registered EDR card holders. $2.5 more than Dan's overall but earning points and fuel voucher.

Slightly changing topic here Markis, but one thing that has annoyed me about the petrol miles is the fact that I get told that I have nothing on my EDR card, when I know I do have vouchers.

It must be poor staff training, as there are operators who have mentioned you are earning points now.

Yes I am being picky:oops:

I agree with you 100%, you feel like a goose when the operator yells out "you have no discounts", I am always tempted to yell out "because I went for points" or "update your POS so it shows I have converted them to points like other outlets".

Last Caltex Woolworths I went to - after scanning my EDR card, the operator selected something on his screen and gave me 4c off anyway. I'm not sure if I still have the points.
