QF94 still had the April 2019 menu !!

If you travelled on QF94 early September, it didn't change with the other menus around the network as they were about to change caterer. Therefore the QF94 and all other flights ex LAX in F and J had a menu change on the day of the new caterer which was last week.

Yeah thats a bit average
Id expect that in economy

Unfortunately it's been like that forever. As a gin lover and knowing that they have some decent gins in the F-Lounge, it's always frustrated me that it's beefeater on board.

Just looking for the SYD F lounge menu, anyone posted one plse?

It’s available here. Scroll down for the spring menu

Thank you for that. I'd like to take a 'copy' of that menu, but I don't know what works from AFF, is there a trick to it?

Hi
Came here from another thread.
DFW to SYD 10 days ago and sorry didn't think of snapping a photo.

The champers was advertised as the Charles Heidsieck but was a different NV French champagne house I did not recognise - and I know my champers ... so probably a $50 to $80 bottle. An ALDI special.
Starter - The sliced pork was lukewarm on a bed of dark beans - avoid it
Main - The fish was a boil in the bag rubbery effort - you know the kind that is dry at the corners and in a perfect rectangle. Poor.
Dessert - Supposed to be a sticky date pudding thing which filled a small bowl with almost no sauce around it. Dry so left half.
Breakfast was better but no jam for the toast and I have to say my old dear of a stewardess was hopeless.
All in all I've flown 1st class 8 times long haul and this was hands down the worst experience. Only my exhaustion and a good sleep saved it.
I flew F LAX to SYD 2 years ago and that was much better.
Maybe I was unlucky. I didn't go the steak on the plane as I had a steak the night before but maybe that was the go.

Canapes and champagne nice. Topped up by a pretty good crew.

Soup nice.

The siu mai and seafood pancake were amazing. Very nice dish.

IMG_1314 (1).jpg

Beef a bit overcooked but still fine.

IMG_1315.jpg

A decent cheese plate (by QF standards at least).

The only letdown was breakfast. Dry bun and rubbery egg, though bacon at least was tasty.

Nothing says First Class like a bacon and egg roll...🙄 it looks just like that ‘slider’ breakfast bun you get in J on an overnight back from Asia.
