Qantas Frequent Flyer Classic Upgrades Impossible to Get

I thought they did, and two A380s are in the UAE getting cabin upgrades.
QF shifted to MEL-PER-LHR on the 787 before the pandemic. QF could bring back an A380 for MEL-SIN with a long wait in SIN but that wouldn’t solve only having one QF flight a day each way SIN-LHR on the A380. SIN-LHR being the main leg I’d want an upgrade on if flying to LHR via SIN.

The airline said that while airfares had increased due to “strong demand and higher fuel prices”, the points required to purchase seats hadn’t similarly increased in “years”. Well this is good news!!

Nor should they if QF are using "fuel fines" to offset those increases (even when the cost of fuel drops!).

More spin from the Roo PR department and a compliant press who should know/question better ...
