Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

My 10K points appeared in my total balance almost immediately, but not showing the activity statement at this time.

It looks like QFF have added the ability to retrospectively add a carbon offset to your booking.

Go to your My Bookings page and each individual booking should have an "offset this trip" link

Unfortunately it seems like it's only possible to offset using points at the moment, for approx 100 points SYD-BNE, approx 750 BNE-SIN (both J - not sure if they are charging more for J vs Y)

Thanks for sharing, I couldn't find the link but I think I looked before they added the functionality. That or didn't look hard enough 😂

Shame they can't let you offset one leg of a multiple segment booking.

My 50 credits went through immediately too! Yay, I can breathe easy in my cosy silveriness for the next 13 months. Actually although many of you are way higher than silver and it may not seem much, for me with a very bad hip and knee, even not having to queue for cattle class check-in is really worth having.

Apologies in advance if this has already been covered. Do we know if the 50 SC can be rolled over as part of PC+ or the current status assistance?

It appears that "Congratulations! You've unlocked Green Tier" is sent by the Customer Service Call Centre - arriving two weeks after completing requirements and about 8 hours after being recognised on the QF web site. Even QFF emails end up with long hold queues

Is there an easy way to know which Green challenge has been completed, and which are not? I couldn't find, and I guess we need to keep track of that information.

Not sure how the personal economics of this work out-cursing my big household 😉. Also assuming already installed solar will count-the big roof makes for big savings
from someone who has installed solar you will be disappointed at how little credits it generates as the Electricity providers have cust the feed in tarrifs dramatically

For me, the credits are only peripheral to the daily savings but we are a high-usage house (pool-pump, multiple washing loads etc)

My selection option appeared today, two weeks to the day after receiving 5 green leaves.

Same here, qualified for Green on 25th March, award choice appeared 8th April. Took the SCs as I still have a long way to go to Lifetime Gold.

Like others, I have noticed this hasnt shown up Activity Statement / Transaction History which is hopefully just a lag that will resolve so these stick as lifetime status credits.

Please keep us posted on how it goes!

Now day 16 after carbon offsetting a revenue flight on QF metal, all ticketed and paid for, acknowledged on MMB page, but no green tick for that activity. Last activity needed to achieve the green tier, so I guess its off to the endless wait on the phones I go.
If it helps anyone else to know, I have finally had a reply today that the reason the carbon offset didn’t trigger a green tick, is that I added my Qantas Business Rewards to the booking, and that renders the carbon offset ineligible for the green tier programme. It has to be solely in the name of the individual making the booking and offset. I still can’t see that referred to anywhere in the T & C’s, but at least now I know.

Yeah that's bs. All my bookings are qbr bookings and have registered for carbon ofdset and green tier.

Yes, I thought it was odd. I’ll do another booking without the business rewards and see if it makes a difference. I did the wellness app quiz 10 days ago too, and still no tick for that.

Wonder if I’m in the same boat. I’m 3+ weeks after booking the offset and am waiting for a reply from the email customer service team about why it hasn’t progressed to green.

My activity statement seems to have clumped my flight offset and home offset into one line item. I wonder if that’s to blame, too (even though I paid cash for the carbon offset).

Does anyone know yet if the scs will rollover with membership? I'm thinking they won't as they are listed as bonus scs.

I booked offset and has not appeared

And bought the $1 carbon friendly

The above hasn’t shown for 2 weeks
