How does this work, when you contact them do they just resend you link to the quiz or reset it. I remember to the quiz but cannot remember how I got to it.

I went into the app and couldnt find the quiz anywhere.

Just burned some points on the carbn offset for home but it hasnt turned my leaf green let will see if it resolves soon before continuing to burn more points,

Once at 4/5 will have to try calling. Raising tickets online for missing hotel vouchers from point club has never been resolved.

If you are going to introduce a tier, at least build the IT so that people can requalify each year.

You could have had that Tassie property offset “delivered” sustainably for 2x leaves. But wine will work. Or combine it with the charity “Giveback”.

I suspect the reason I can't get the offset green leaf is because my bookings have all been included in my QBR account. The offset points have appeared in that account, but not in my personal account.

Just something to double check for those still not getting the flight offset green leaf.

Personally the whole thing seems a waste of time, such as I'm not really bothered now

Handy to know. I often add the ABN after booking. If I remember, I’ll report back how it goes. I’m only planning one offset for 1x leaf.

I almost always add the ABN, because I almost always book fares that get a discount.
I'm contemplating booking a refundable business flight without ABN. But really put off by then locking away my money for an indeterminate time period waiting for the refund.
Im currently getting decent interest on my business account, don't want to forgo that for months... lol

The simpler option is to add the “Climate Positive Delivery” in the QF store to something (including wine) but can be anything. It costs $1 or 130pts.

I don't know, but I never knew where my 10k points went or even IF I received them.
No record of it.
Was told to check the monthly statements... can't be bothered.

Thanks everyone for your advice - spent a bit of time yesterday and and I have just ticked over the five leaves . Now I need to decide whether to go the points or the status credits

I had had one tick for ages from an offset flight booked. I then came across this thread and decided to work my way through another 4 leaves.
About 24 hours from 'earning' the final tick I logged in to Qantas and they were just there. It took Qantas another week or so to send the congratulatory email and my 10,000 points were in the bag.

Out of interest and for future readers pondering $10k pts v 50 SCs - what was the net number of points you ended up with? ie how many points + $s did you spend to earn the 10K?

I‘m going for SCs, so I’m not fussed about using points. As per my earlier post, I think it’ll cost me 5230 pts and ~$2. So good value for SCs.

As it was, I wasn’t able to pay the cash option for the House offset, only pts. Wondering if that was just a browser issue?

Also, the “Give back” appears to be only payable in pts? (3200 min)

A question for the broader group: have there been any promo codes that reduce the pts required?

Should be about $17-25 for 6800 points net, depending on the flight offset.

The most efficient option is $15 (TAS home offset) + $1 (short domestic flight carbon offset) + $1 (climate positive delivery) + 3200 points give back

Unfortunately the Points Club Plus 10% discount doesn't seem to apply to these items, I haven't seen any other promo codes reported.

No, I combined the ‘delivery’ and house offset and the ability to select cash was greyed out. Even now on my iPad, if I go in to select just one or other of those, I still only get the pts option. I’ll try again on a PC and/or different browsers and report back if different.

Anyway, strange that the “Give back” is only pts and not $25 increments. It’s a fair chunk of the potential 10k bonus pts.
