The thought's crossed my mind, even though Mrs Excel or I wouldn't have the alcohol ourselves.

I thought the SCs that are gifted for attainment were the same, at 50, but you do get the added advantage of being able to roll over up to 100 SCs annually with PCP.

Yep, exactly. I have so far had my mind set on the SCs, but just briefly considered whether it's feasible to do the extra push up to hit PCP this year for the extra rollover. I don't think I can make it though so it's an academic exercise somewhat.

Just had a quick look and there’s slim pickings on the bonus points front in the QF Wine shop at the mo. For those of us who maintain cellars, there can be some cracking offers.

Occasionally they have single bottle deals with good bonus pts that could at least make a nice gift for someone else. There’s a couple in that category now but they’re not looking particularly good value for your needs.

Bringing this back to Green Tier, if we see some “Green” wine offers with bonus points, we ought to mention it here. Earn a “leaf” and get some extra points to offset the “Give back” donation!

Does anyone know who I should contact if my Green Tier leaf didn't come through?

I had a return trip last week and prior to the trip I purchased a carbon offset with points. Took the trip, all other SC and points credited fine but I haven't received the leaf.

Depending on how you value the wine, it could be an OK deal. Personally, I discount the wine to account for my enjoyment of it. For these, I reckon I'd value them at $30/bottle which means I'm buying the points at about 1.8c each - it's at the margin but not a loss, gets the green tick, and could be a nice drop for a treat at Christmas

I didn’t notice the Green leaf earlier so just went back to see what it looks like for future reference!

As an aside, there’s quite a few QF Wine bonus points offers without Green credentials on offer (got the email earlier). I was going to mention it in the Points Club thread.

Point of reference, Mrs excel achieved a green tier leaf on a joint award flight booking with myself, pretty sure I paid for the offset with cash at time of booking and entered FF numbers at the time as well.
