Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

I know some have done it already, but can confirm that you can finish all your 5 leaves towards the end of the existing membership year and then the rewards show up for 90 days. The 50 SCs can count towards the next membership year if you wait for it to roll over with the selections still there.
Pretty flexible to use depending on if you are just short of making a tier and you need more SCs.
April year end for me with final leaf GREEN TIER QUIZ & CHALLENGES auto-posting end March but unable to see reward selection (anxious wait) until today 02 May - here is "documentary, photographic evidence" (in joke) 😂😂

That happened to me as well lollll, tempted to get another 50 status credits but will wait...

Will this give one of the leaves if you combine it with the "green delivery" option? If yes, that'd be my fifth one and I'll be sorted nice and easy.
I would assume so. With that promo and the 20 pts / $ one, it’s not a bad time to tick off some of the easy leaves.

I was holding out for a general 20%-30% of pts offer to get my last (I’ve had those offers before but never thought to check if they worked for GT) but might just take up the current offer. The use by date ought to be sufficient to roll over SCs post 31 July (for my anniversary date).

Edit: presumably you can stack a few purchases?
Promo Code reduced points for Give Back plus Climate Positive Delivery but ignored Sustainable Lifestlye. Didn't need anything more at this stage as new year just started.

Thanks for this tip. Nice to get a small discount on the 50SC. Shame the cost of Tasmania's 1 person/0 car offset has gone up this year, but still great value overall.

If QF points cost one no more than $0.005 per point to acquire (via credit card annual fees for sign-up bonuses, etc), it works out at about $30 for 50SC — or 60c per SC. A lot better than a status run!

Reward expires 31 August? That's more than 90 days to choose - nice to know!
In that image 31 August is the expiration of Green tier status, not when to select the reward... however for selecting a reward it's 90 days + rounded up to the end of the month so you do usually get slightly more than 90 days to select.

- Enjoy Green Tier benefits until 30 April 2024
- Select a reward before it expires on Thursday 31 August 2023

Given my member year ends in July, I should be good now to trigger the green tier, and claim the (first) 50SC in August, with my 100SC rollover from PC+, and work on my green tier renewal for the head start towards Gold in 2024 :)

Happy days!

Please report back how long you get to select your prize. I was originally aiming for June if not early July to ensure I had the option to select in July or August.
