Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

I did an offset on 23 March (using points) on an existing booking. The flight was 19/4. The green leaf has now shown up. 4/5 finished and last one will be either "Sustainable Travel" or "Choose Sustainable". Thinking it's time to buy some QF Wine :D

Anyone want to send me a wellbeing app referral code?
EDIT: all good now thanks everyone!

I completed my 5 leaves a few weeks ago and now my app says it's time to choose my reward but nothing on the Qantas site yet... debating whether I risk them breaking anything else by asking QF to fix it or if I just wait. Is there any consensus on whether it rights itself eventually or if I'll need to poke the hamster wheel to make the SC/points choice appear?

The option to select my reward didn't show up after a couple of weeks after I got my 5th leaf so I called the Frequent Flyer Service Centre and the agent knew how to fix it right away — took about a minute all up and he asked me to log out/in and the option finally appeared.

Hi All,
I recently carbon offset my existing reward flight for Oct-23 using points 3 days ago and still waiting for the leaf to turn green. Does the leaf get awarded after the flight is completed or we can offset the future flight?

Did anyone have luck in offsetting the future flight using points?

Edit - Th 5th leaf got updated today and the reward is visible on Qantas App.

Yeah technically mine's been done for 5 months. I thought I might as well wait until a month before my renewal to call up though :)

Can you use flights bought by a business account to quality for green tier?

my work buys my flights (which I accrue status credit and Qantas points on my own account for) for me and I did the fly neutral on 2 of those flights, but never received my 5th green leaf for fly neutral

Are these ineligible or do I need to chase them up?

I have two more leaves to earn, from categories sustainable travel, choose sustainable and reduce your impact.
What's the lowest cost ($ or points) way to tick those two off? The wellbeing app quiz is probably one but what's the second one, especially if I'd prefer to avoid buying any products (just in general).

There have been report in this thread that some Qantas FF reps claimed they were inligable. You might need to chase the green leif via the call center and see what they can do. Best is to carbon offset a flight you payed for (award flight works too), if that s an option.

Hmm – trying to figure out if I should pay ~$130 to offset my home + car then take my fiancee somewhere nice for a night to unlock the final green tier.

For those who've made it, other than some points or status credits, is it actually worth it?

Has anyone received news of any more special events for green people? The last QFF event I attended was the 2013 launch of the Mars Rover thing (thanks, AFF!)

Anyway, I'm thinking there are better ways to spend my $130, however selfish that sounds. Carn folks; convert me!

Why not offset your holiday home in Tasmania (you know, the one where you don't have a car)?

Upthread there's a few of us attending a gin class at Four Pillars in Healsville, Victoria next weekend. Free green flyer event.

No biggie, but it's something, not sure how it's a green event, produced locally, reply after the event

That's nice though. I wonder how quickly those tix went?

I know some have done it already, but can confirm that you can finish all your 5 leaves towards the end of the existing membership year and then the rewards show up for 90 days. The 50 SCs can count towards the next membership year if you wait for it to roll over with the selections still there.
Pretty flexible to use depending on if you are just short of making a tier and you need more SCs.
