Evening Trans Tasman flight here - I was looking forward to the focaccia but it wasn't served, nor was a 'dessert' - only crackers and cheese which I though was a strange choice for an evening flight.

I dont think there is usually a dessert, just a lindt chocolate ball towards the end. We've definitely never had a dessert on trans tasman.

I did notice the drinks service trolley had lots of spirits available, is that usual for Y or is that an improvement?
