re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Clearly this is why we've been screwed on recent enhancements, they've been diverted to this new programme...

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Sorry, I get it now. I thought you might have been talking about how you pre-registered or whatever they call it.

I get the same when entering my email, so it's possible that the whole thing hasn't gone live just yet.

Indeed, so heed my warning for now, you amassing ABN holders :p

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

The online activity statement will commence listing Eligible Flight transactions by early May 2014, after which Eligible Flights will normally appear on the statement within 7 days of travel. However, they will remain as Pending Aquire Points until the business has: (1) accumulated at least 20,000 Aquire Points on Eligible Flights; and (2) at least two different employees have taken Eligible Flights in the applicable Membership Year. - See more at: https://www.aquire.com.au/faqs#sthash.QZ1kEEkb.dpuf

Cool. I can now go back to sleep.

OK

Well just retrieved my email and notes with password and low and behold cant get in. Tried to use the forgotten password field but again no look was advised that I had supplied incorrect details.

Just hoping that it is due to the being too early. Would hate to think that QF could have coughed this launch up as well LOL

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Well I re-registered if that is the correct term.

Hopefully their software is able to link all my pre-registered flights to my re-registration via the ABN.

Wonder if Red Roo can enlighten us?

Same happened to me this morning. I presume that all the bookings booked prior to the Aquire launch have your ABN attached and therefore, will be traced accordingly. *Crossing fingers and toes*

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Here we go again..... I wonder if the team that did the Christmas voucher program is on this one too.... Could be another very long wait for points...:-|

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Just received the email to "complete the join process online by 30th April 2014."

I did too, but then it wouldn't accept my old details, so just assume re-entering your ABN is the way forward... and hope in May that all my past flights (December-February) show up.

Yes me too. Might wait a bit to try it out, given some of the above posts.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Although you may have pre-registered, you do need to register your ABN via www.aquire.com.au to become a member of the program.

This is so we can match your pre-registration to your flights, and also ensure the terms and conditions have been agreed to.

Once you’ve completed the necessary steps (pre-registering, entering an ABN in your booking, flying and then registering for Aquire), the points will credit to your business’s Aquire account in 6-8 weeks.

We appreciate your enthusiasm, and hope this helps to clarify the next steps.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

So now we have 2 QFF programs... one for business and one for the mum's & dad's consumer... I guess this opens the door for one of them to be sold off...? ;)

Thank-you it does - I did actually send a nasty frustrated e-mail off to Qantas this morning.... I have now completed the registration :)

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Looking at the earning table
https://www.aquire.com.au/offer/airlineearntable

So say 30% earn of Y- would mean a business would have to rack up approx 60,000 miles to get 18,000 AQ points, and valuing at 1c that would make back the $179 fee right?

And--at least initially--they would still be "pending" points that can't be converted into anything.

That example shows that many may / will drop off after the initial "free" year, but I'm sure for the big players there's more in it for them...

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

If I'm doing the maths correct, that's 84 Domestic short flights a year to earn enough to transfer 20k. Perhaps I'll just keep it for the first year.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

I don't see any points appear in my account from my previous travel (after pre-registering).. Will I need to claim these? Also is it free for the first year? (I did pre register)
