Thank you for offering the passes on AFF!

Edit: I didn’t realise they expire today. So I can’t use them.

My friend also can't make use of 2 "general" passes and is happy to transfer.

General – can be used at any Qantas Club domestic lounge, Qantas International Lounge or Qantas operated International Business Lounge (excluding Los Angeles Tom Bradley Terminal) when departing on a Qantas or Jetstar flight number.
My friend again has 2 "general" passes (expiring 10 February) and is happy to transfer.

I could do with 1 x lounge pass for 9th February, if it’s still available.

Thank you for the offering.

Hi all, not so much an offer / request for lounge invitations, but moreso a question if possible.

I have linked a lounge invitation to a flight date that is a few months beyond the expiry date of the lounge invitation.

I've received an email with a QR code for that lounge access - would this still be valid considering that I've linked it to a flight prior to its expiry (ie. the invitation has been "booked"?)

On the terms and conditions page - https://www.qantas.com/au/en/freque...mplimentary-invitations-terms-conditions.html it states the below:

6.1 Invitations must be used before the expiry date which cannot be extended.

I have a Qantas Premier Platinum card and my anniversary date is in July, so I should get another few invitations in July, but just wanting to ask if possible.

Thankyou in advance :)

yeah I am pretty sure the pass will expire and you'll be out of luck.

Is this linked to a JQ flight? I have always found trying to link a pass to a QF flight beyond the expiry date fails.

Has anyone encountered resistance from lounge dragons on access to a domestic Business lounge using a Domestic Business Complimentary Invitation?

My SIL and two of his mates were refused entry this afternoon at SYD - all three had Domestic Business passes assigned to their flight, but the lounge dragon said they can only go to the Qantas Club.

Yes. The same thing happened to my mum this week flying from CBR.

Okay that's fine and probably expected.

I'll be getting more invitations in July or thereabouts, so it should be fine and I can re-link with a new invitation.

Yep, it is linked to a JQ flight.

OK, sounds like they need re-training.

Best email address to send to?

Realistically, there's probably not much more you can do than fill out a customer care form. You'll probably get a standard "sorry, not sorry" reply and no offer of compensation...

There's some irony in that the DBL passes were given out as apologies to existing Qantas Gold members...

No problems at Perth Business Lounge a few weeks back. Linked two DBL passes for myself and wife.
Didn't even check the second one on entry to the lounge. Wasn't a great visit anyway, line up for refreshments.
