Qantas online Mall, cookies and points

Does it match up to your purchases excluding GST and any delivery charges? Mine from Iconic and Kathmandu do when I take these off the total.

Note that a few of the stores have T&Cs containing "Tax and delivery charges are not included in customer rewards. Discounts or offer codes not provided by this site will result in members not earning Qantas Points for a purchase." on the store's page of the mall. I don't know if it across the board with all stores.

The purchase was with Booktopia for $162.40 plus $6.95 shipping. QF awarded 590pts for it. about 3.5 times, then they doubled it for the Christmas 2x bonus..

$162.40 / 1.1 = $147.63 ex GST x 4 = 590.52

So the points are 4x your purchase ex GST, and the bonus points making 8x on offer when you purchased?

Well thank you, that makes sense. But other transactions include gst in the points awarded

I don't think it is consistently applied to all stores' purchases on the mall but I haven't shopped from any others except Iconic, Kathmandu (both exclude GST) and eBay (full purchase value as GST not explicitly charged and delivery included).

Judging by the phone call I received from QF customer care about the lack of emails for Microsoft purcahses, the inconsistency has got them perplexed also!

Received bonus points as a single line item from two ebay purchases in December.

The bonus is less than the $ value of the items even accounting for GST. Delivery was free.

Bonus points for first of two DJs transactions has posted, just waiting for the second (larger) lot.

You might be able to. Take screen dumps at each step as it shows the site navigation and time you visited.
Excellent idea re screen dumps at each step of the way, I have just resolved a points issue from an Apple purchase that I made in August 2015
I wish that I had made screen dumps at the time, the on line staff were not the best, they didn't even know that there was a bonus offer on when I made my purchase.
A tremendous supervisor at Customer care sorted it out in three minutes. The Wright Brothers took to the air in a shorter time. If it wasn't for customer care I wouldn't have received what was due to me

Still waiting for my second DJs points bonus...I've sent in a missing points claim so waiting with baited breath.

Never Again! What a joke... I got the double points offer back in December, so thought I'd use the Qantas Mall for the first time ever to buy some Christmas presents from David Jones. Made sure I read the instructions about cookies, clicking the right links etc, and did everything to a T as required. It wasn't until late Feburary-early March I realised I still hadn't received my points.

Now, after quite a few phone calls to Qantas, emailing everything I have from David Jones, having had to deal with three different agents, at least two different supervisors, and now keep getting the run around. 30 days after I submitted all the evidence required, they are now indicating it's going to be another 30 days before I can expect an outcome, even though I've already been told that I would receive the points as a one-off gesture of good will. Now they are quoting that because there is a "promotion" on the tax invoice (aka Christmas sale price on an item), they have to review whether the purchase is eligible. What a joke Qantas. Never again.

That's very strange. I lodged a missing points claim, got a phonecall, gave them the order confirmation number and it was all sorted. It really cant be that hard.

The Iconic are offering triple points this week - 15 points per $. Definitely one for semi-regular shoppers to buy up big on.

This promotion is back!

Last year the standard base points took 4 weeks to post whilst the bonus points took over 4 months to post.

However despite this setback im prepared to give The Iconic ago again through the Qantas mall.

Did anyone else make any purchases during the Apple double points promo and have not received the bonus points?

Seriously starting to doubt if it's going to be easy to get bonus points on any individual retailer promo they offer...

Has anyone who shopped during the Iconic Promotion go their points yet?

I'd really prefer not to have to try and chase them up....

So Ebay on the Qantas Mall has gone from 2 points per $ to 1 point per $ now to 1 point per $2.

Almost not worth it.
