I am sooo waiting for that!!! Since being PI have been invited to the State of Origin and have had teh Flight Simulator exp... nothing for the past few months.. Hoping they will pull the rabbit out later with invitation to the Ashes...

No luck with any invites for me lately, but would love to get something for the Bon Jovi convert in Perth next month, but I'll take Taylor Swift if I had too, lol
 
I got an invite yesterday to human nature in Sydney. Nothing for the cricket so far

Went for Human nature event in August at Wild Fire.. was a great night. Mrs smarty11 loved it as well.

I am sure you will like it... QF does know how to put up a good show!
 
OK... so today I flew a sector that tips me over that elusive P1 qualification line :cool:
I've racked up a tidy 3645 SC in just over 100 days - needless to say, been a fairly busy time! I made good use of the double SC promo with 1400 of those SC coming from that (thx QF!)

So what happens now??? Will I wake up in the morning to find a QANTAS butler in my house??? Does Joycey give me a call to say "Top of da mornin to ya"???

Me thinks I'll most likely wake up, relieved in the thought that I'm not hopping into another pressurised aluminium tube for nearly a whole week - YAY!! :D

hehe... doubt it very much! I have no expectation of maintaining it but hey, I'll enjoy it until Sep 2015 when it will revert back to WP :( My main objective with flogging the double SC period was to clock over the LTG mark before QF inevitably say goodbye to the much loved JASA's.
And as someone who travels mainly for work, and with a company policy of discount economy domestic & prem economy long haul, I reckon I do OK just to stay WP with Q & V! The travel moons lined up last 3 months so I thought fruck it.. may as well have a crack and make hay while the sun shines :cool:

yeah I think that is one down side of P1... no DSCs offers anymore.. but the way you are going.. over 3600 SC in 100 days.. you may not even need DSCs to retain P1..! Maybe you can aim for that all elusive 10,000 SCs!!! Then you can expect the call from Joycey!
 
Currently sitting in the SYD Flounge and was looking at my PE ticket (QF5 to SIN) and noticed that I had mistakenly selected an aisle seat. Expert flyer was telling me that there maybe a few windows left in PE so I headed to the service desk to see if they could change me around. The nice lady told me she could do even better - how about a business window instead. Thanks Qantas.
 
Currently sitting in the SYD Flounge and was looking at my PE ticket (QF5 to SIN) and noticed that I had mistakenly selected an aisle seat. Expert flyer was telling me that there maybe a few windows left in PE so I headed to the service desk to see if they could change me around.
