@RichardMEL I am sure you are on the worthy list and just maybe QF is choosing a special carrier for you - Sendle.

Ok, I think there’s a bit of belt-tightening going on this year with the Xmas Gift. Total first world problems, not complaining just an observation.
Past years have had P1 branded Comtes (exterior packaging/ stickers etc). This year there is no branding and a variation in Champers.
Someone in my Facebook group received a different champagne other than the Rare 2002. I’m guessing QF wines were the source of all of the gifts this year from inventory.

@Princess Fiona are you talking about branding on the external packaging, or the champagne box. From memory last years Comtes they may have been some additional packaging (long gone) however the white Comtes box was not P1 branded, unless I got duped.

I have three (maybe 4 ? ) Bottles of Comtes that all have P1 branding on them.
External packaging once removed from the cardboard box (not the cardboard packing case it was shipped in, all of those were full of QF branding). None of mine have been consumed yet. All still have a bit of time left.

I don't have that may left they have been consumed, I must have been duped last year as there is no P1 branding on the box or bottle.

It would make sense for QF wines to be the source; wouldn't make sense paying full retail.

Make that three different Champers now. Rare, C de C and a vintage Pommery
And no neither of them are CLPO

@Brettmcg thanks for posting the image. I am by no means a wine connoisseur it is either fizz, red or white, which I either like or dislike, your packaging looks like a gold colour and details Grands Crus Blanc de Blanc on the box. The box I have is white and only says Blanc de Blanc, however the label on my Comtes fizz inside the box says Grands Crus Blanc de Blanc. I suspect someone much closer to home and who likes fizz is partially to blame.

Just received a very welcome bottle of the PH Rare Millesime 2002. Had it on QF1 a few weeks back (and the CdC on QF2 coming back). I'd say I slightly prefer the CdC, but they're both very nice.

L1 on the envelope.

According to Hatcher I get my bottle in the next few days. Buggerred if I will linger at home for the delivery - yet I do not like their offer of "leave in a safe place".
