Qantas Platinum One experiences?

That is most unusual nowadays. I am used to absolutely no recognition so don't expect it just maybe why I don't get it😁.. and certainly not even a thought of bubbles from J.
Contrary to my earlier experience, QF68, 17/09 flying J, was not acknowledged - not at boarding, not after setting down, no CSM approached welcoming to the flight etc etc ... none whatsoever ... guess it's just lucky draw ...

As for VIP team engagement I could not be happier. I am currently international on a family trip (school holidays) and completely forgot that next years school holidays flight openings started a week or so back. When searching on the QF site I found BA J to LHR but this turned out to be phantom availability. After calling the agent we discussed options, I was after a total of three seats she found options fir DOH which I could not see online. Being with QR I wanted to stay on the call until I knew it was ticketed, the agent said 'leave it with me' or words to that effect by the time I came back from dinner, I had received tickets x2 ADL-xPER-xDOH-LHR and a day earlier ADL-xPER-xDOH-LHR all in J, happy with this outcome.

Took me a very long time to find something to write for the latest P1 competition... 😂

"We’re giving three lucky Platinum One members - and their plus ones - the chance to win an immersive two night experience departing Brisbane 2 November 22. To celebrate the 100 year partnership between Qantas and Australia Post, we are recreating Qantas’ first regular airmail and passenger service, between Charleville and Cloncurry, connecting Australian people, post and parcels with the world.

All you have to do is tell us in 25 words or less your favourite Qantas memory before Wednesday 5pm (AEDT) 12 October 2022."

Arriving on time in London.
Not being ignored by the CSM.

So many memories!😂

You left out:

- bags turning up (ideally less than three weeks post flight)
- getting what you actually paid for (e.g. meal in business class)
- getting through to the call centre as a P1 in less than 25 mins
- dealing with QF staff without attitude

Ah, the great memories!

So do we know who won the "once in a lifetime" competition? The conditions didn't say when.
Guess it was probably pre-determined who was going to win...
