Got another CL invite for this weekend.

First time only (as far as I'm aware). Have been P1 since 2019 and received it once. Only things proactively sent have been the Xmas gifts (except for one of the COVID years) and the recent bag tag.

I wonder if you get it again if you drop from P1 and then requalify a few years later...? The welcome pack appears to be the same as when I received it too.

You don’t get a pack every requal, although they do send gifts extremely intermittently.

They didn’t even send me a new card! My card has nominally expired, the lounge agent pointed this out, said they don’t send out new physical cards any more (really?) and I should use the digital version instead.

They do send out physical cards (well did last year) as I got one which aligns to my current expiry. I did not request this

Curious what times you travel. Is there a higher likelihood of a CL invite at off peak or it’s it weekends ?

IME they tend to be for off peak travel when the lounges are quieter.
Eg. not heard of anyone getting an invite to CBR at the end of a sitting week.

The DPS runs both started on Sunday... offpeak methinks but still no invite. Did get a massage in the Flounge, but no special food menu.

Not crew but had a few of the same crew, including DPS-MEL where the second time we had to return to the gate to offload a sick pax and I commiserated with them

That’s some effort. I don’t personally think P1 is worth this even with Tay Tay tickets but good on you for having the stamina to do it.
