I was just thinking about this with the wine vouchers: When you retain pc/pc+ do the vouchers land on retention or the qantas ff anniversary date?

My new Hotel voucher (actual number) arrived by email just after anniversary date. I retained a month or so prior.

The email telling me I had a wine voucher (no number) arrived about a month later.

My wine vouchers arrived arrived when I retained PC+. Not received hotel vouchers yet, so suspect those might be anniversary date. Will know more come December.

Good to see they’re consistently inconsistent! Mind you, the wine vouchers went from birthday to attain/retain - so there could be random timings.

I checked my emails and got the following (my QFF and PC anniversary date is 31 July):
03 Aug - email with Hotel voucher (number included in email)
05 Oct - email alerting Wine Voucher was in my account (although I couldn’t see until my dashboard was enhanced the other day).

My birthday is Oct - so that was curious if it was still linked to the wine voucher, although last years had “BDAY” in the code. The new one had “PC”.

You might be on to something. I retained around the same time as my birthday month.

Just a data point for some - I availed myself of the Points Club Plus triple bonus points for flights offer back in September. Bonus points hit my account 2 days after flights and they aren't considered 'flight' points so not included the 20k flights cap. It got me an additional 20k points so helps in getting Points Club Plus next year.

The first rule of Point Club (mistakes) is you don’t talk about Points Club (mistakes) 😉

Just circling back to this...

The table on Post #14 in this thread shows a lower SC earn rate in J than the Qantas web page now shows:

I have a booking for travel next week that I made in Aug, that is forecasting my PC earn at the lower rate.

Has anyone seen any sort of announcement of the change in SC J reward rates for Points Club? It appears they have been tweaked upward sometime between mid August and now...

Qantas finally lets us keep an “enhancement”, 38 status credits on a SYD-DRW reward flight sounds great!

Hi all, not sure if this has been mentioned so far in the thread. But, the search function doesn't let me search a specific thread.

With regards to status credits for Classic Rewards on QANTAS marketed flights only, does that mean you'll receive status credits for Jetstar flights if they have a QF number as well? E.g. flight QF5337/3K537?

Another example, QF5545/JQ25.

My understanding is that it's not just QANTAS operated flights with the QANTAS logo on the plane, but also QANTAS marketed flights. However, when you go to book the classic reward, it will always show up with a JQ/3K number, even if there is an applicable QF number.

As you've correctly identified, it's not possible to book a QF marketed classic award on a JQ operated flight, so you won't earn status credits on JQ awards.

Status Credits will only be earned on Classic Flight Rewards if the flight is marketed or ticketed as ‘QF’, if the member is a Points Club or Points Club Plus member at the time of flying, and if the member’s Qantas Frequent Flyer number is added to the booking.

Thanks Sudoer, I appreciate the confirmation. Will add that to my knowledge base. I find it frustrating not being able to book a Jetstar ticket under a QF number for classic reward because of baggage allowance mismatches.

Same goes for reward flights operated by under another airline, Aircalin looks like the only one that doesnt change from the QF number. For other airlines, you may see the flight number change in the search from QF to EK, QF to FJ, QF to AA etc, which indicates no status credits for reward codeshare flights.
