Qantas Points Club Discussion

Same goes for reward flights operated by under another airline, Aircalin looks like the only one that doesnt change from the QF number. For other airlines, you may see the flight number change in the search from QF to EK, QF to FJ, QF to AA etc, which indicates no status credits for reward codeshare flights.
Confirmed. Used qf rewards for J on Aircalin "QF8692" in Sep , 24 SCs credited (funny though, 28SC for that distance domestic J. I'll put the link to the PC SC table as it took me a while to find it.)
Edit: removed, posted on page 1

Hopefully there is a message on the call saying, "Thank you for being a points club plus member!", and in turn the call can be routed to Hobart

I can see it on my vanilla PC dashboard also. Hoping it stacks with my WP status for even faster call service!

Note this is the Frequent Flyer Service Center, not reservations.

To be honest I've never had to wait long for the Frequent Flyer service centre, even as a Bronze with no Points Club last year. Also I think all of their staff are Manila-based.

It’s a known issue since they upgraded the website but that was a while ago. They credited me the $50 discount (after paying full price) BUT issued a replacement voucher which I’ve since used.
I just received an email telling me that an old Birthday wine voucher that didn’t work post website upgrade is now working. Sure enough, it’s there in my PC dashboard and appears to be working but still expires on 26 Nov!

I didn't receive an email and nor did my wife, but we both just found $50 vouchers in our QF accounts, each expiring soon after our birthdays, so they must be birthday related. We are no longer Points Club members and only qualified once. These are in top of $50 vouchers received back when we were members, so all up $100 each. Not bad for nothing.

Nice. I actually noticed it in my dashboard a day or so before the email and wasn’t sure if it was one I’d already hidden (as used). Anyway, another 12,000 pts on their way with bonus case of red wine.

Turns out the "Discount code is not applicable to this cart" - so possibly the $50 vouchers that appeared were ones I had already used. Apologies if I mislead anyone.

Took me a couple of days to read 48 pages (30mins a day).

Applied for ANZ Black and the points came in a couple of days after anniversary. Was expecting the max 125k pts per transaction due to ANZ 160k spend bonus. Was pleasantly surprised when ANZ delivered the points in 2 transactions (100k + 60k) . This resulted in PC status immediately. Vouchers (hotel, wine) and 2 comp pass came within days when I checked.

This meant I can hold PC for almost 2 yrs if I do not achieve PCP in next 12 months. Timing is everything and I think I got lucky.

Nice one!

I just made Points Club Plus and trying to use the new Qantas wine vouchers. I'm getting an error message that the coupon is invalid. Is this because I'm already getting a 10% discount as PCP and can't use a coupon at the same time?

You should be able to combine 10% PCP with your voucher.

Two options:
- minimum spend of 149 not reached
- some vouchers are buggy, would need to call qantas wine and see what they can do. Many occurance of this happening in some threads, with various outcome.

oh, thanks! I wasn't aware of the minimum spend. But I used my last voucher on the double bottle of Mumm Champagne, which was only $119?

Older vouchers had a min spend. Newer ones tend not to. Check your PC dashboard for what vouchers are available. That will state min spend and also let you copy the voucher # into the QF wine shop.
