I also had my bonus hit my
Me (Mrs me actually) too. I sent a form a week ago and we called on the weekend. No sign of the missing hotel voucher from the PC level in Dec or hotel and wine vouchers from recent PC+.oh yeah - mine too

Assuming you qualified for PC+ last membership year and were already given 100 SC rollover for this membership year? If so, then no you won't get rollover SC next month if you didn't earn enough points to retain PC+ for your next membership year.I am currently PC+ but won’t earn enough points for 350,000 to requalify before my year resets in a month. Will I still get 100 SC rollover?
No I wasn’t given 100 SC rollover previously as I didn’t even have that much.Assuming you qualified for PC+ last membership year and were already given 100 SC rollover for this membership year? Also worth noting there are no soft landings with Points Club so unless you earned 150,000 QFF points this membership year, you'll drop out of Points Club all together.
I seem to have not been getting the latest WP newsletter and most recent promos from PC+. I'm still subscribed to everything so go figure.
I get the comms, but yep I have the First name and Initial thing. You can update online but just need to upload proof…WP? TBH, I feel that new members are much better served in the IT sense. I've been onboard 20 years, Platinum but don't get communications. Plus they keep on referring to me as First Name + Initial (of middle name) - so I think older customers migrated over to their newer platform has caused problems.
So the max 150k + 75k bonus for $3,999 will get you from zero to PC in one step and well on the way PC+! No max limit on points in one transaction it seems?A few have mentioned they're close to losing pc+ but remember if you buy points they count towards pc/pc+ attainment...
Maybe value now, if you'll use the Qantas club and vouchers during your member year

And if you use those points on QF marketed classic rewards flights, you’ll earn SCs also. Unlike most other “purchase points” programs with other airlines.
I have a shed load of points already, so I personally don’t see the value in buying a lot but if it made the difference between attaining/retaining then worth looking at. In the past, I’ve just gone down the QF Wine route. But I might look a bit more closely at this.
I agree that buying points can be questionable value (although a lot of peeps here do it) but you’ve probably understated the value when redeeming for QF premium classic reward flights - if you can get what you want. And that’s probably the issue for low/no status PC/PC+ members (no early access to classic reward seats).Fair value for 225k QF points would be $2,250. You'd lose value if you redeemed on vouchers, and potentially get $4,500 in value if you used them on the right flight redemption (more if you redeemed well). But you'd not be far away from paying revenue money for award flights.
If I were going to be spending that much on buying points I would be looking hard at the BA Avios subscription - which can access QR flights. I would not be spending that kind of money simply to renew PC+.

I think the only time I'd purchase points is when / if I'm a few thousand points short of redeeming a flight, I certainly wouldn't buy $1-4k+ worth of points even if there's a 50% bonus points promo as I see it as "single use".
I got the bulk of my points from bonus points (ie. XX,xx_ amount of points) when meeting a minimum spend on new Credit Cards - this is money that I would have "had" to spend anyway - ie. for car / home insurance, groceries etc.
Having the bonus points was just that - a bonus for spending what I would have had to spend anyway.
Buying points on the other hand, seems too "intentional" to get points. Topping up on the other hand, is different in my view.
Nowadays I've stopped churning cards and now just earn points from BP Rewards, Wellbeing and normal spending on my Qantas PP card.
I guess everyone has a different perspective on how they view their points.
I have bought points on several occasions, but each time the points come with some free wineI have bought points.
My starting point when looking for a new card is always here (sort by bonus points): Frequent Flyer Credit Cards: Up to 150,000 Bonus Points | FinderFolks, just cancelled my Amex Plat after being a member for almost 30 years. Any suggestions as to what new cards I should consider taking up. My wife usually has a supplementary card to mine and we primarily like using points and getting lounge access both here and overseas. We primarily use these carriers - Qantas, Virgin, Cathay, Singapore, Etihad and Emirates.
Any ideas??

[edit] oh, and uncheck "Only show products with direct links & enquiry options"
The 100SCs at rollover is the only PCP benefit for me, over PC..
