I would imagine not. I.e. if you qualify mid year, at the end of the year you get the 100sc and your point reset to 0. You are still PC+ for the next 12 months, but if you fail to requal, at the end of the year you drop to PC (if soft landing is a thing??) or drop to nothing without a second serve of 100sc rollover.
I have received my bonus 500 SCs overnight. My status date is 31 January.
Gratefully accepted as it gets me to retain WP with my planned flights in May.
- A QF161 Y ticket booked via Asia-Miles / Cathay;
- where the MPC number was removed from the beginning;
- and my QFF number was inserted at date of booking; and
- me being PC+
lead to 15 SCs hitting my account immediately post flight.
So, as some suggested here, where the reward booking on QF metal originates from, does not seem to be a consideration in QF‘s IT.
Still waiting for my 100 SCs roll-over from 31 Jan YE.
Same thing happened to me, but if you check in notices it has all letters that have been sent to you from Westpac. I found my previous closure notice and it was dated more than 12 month prior to my new applications.
They paid me the points about a week later after investigating.
Thanks for this info, I've just been approved for another churn card with Westpac - just to clarify, are you saying that when I log in again after 14 months of the account being closed ) with new credentials I'm guessing) that the letters might still be there? ta
Thanks. My method is to not requalify and drop to nothing and then requalify in a couple of months and have that status for the best part of two years.
Since I am WP anyway, PC does it for me. The 100 SC rollover for PC+ is not a real consideration.
Would QF have any issues if I "gift" my brother PC by just transferring 100k points from my CC points transfer into his QFF account then having him pass me the points on QFF once hes got it? It shouldn't be an issue right?

If you are suggesting using credit cards points to put QF points directly into your brother’s QF account then it would work from the QF perspective but I think you would only be able to use credit card points to put points on a frequent flyer account of the same name.

I agree. It is normal that the name of the credit card account and the name of the frequent flyer account must match. If someone has found a card that allows points transfer to an FF account with a different name, then I expect there will be a lot of people here interested to know which credit card it is.
I have just got my two $50 wine vouchers as a PC+ member.
Looking at the Qantas Wine site, they have an attractive deal on bonus points for Arila Gardens Barossa Sand Grenache. Basically, a bottle of $85 wine, 2,500 points and free delivery for $17.05 plus a $50 voucher.
Alas, I do not drink.
If anyone is interested, I'd be happy to order the wine to be sent to them if they reimburse me the $17.05 when the wine arrives. They get the wine, I get the points.

I have a house full of unwanted alcohol. Happy to send both of them to you if you reimburse me the $34.10 when the wine arrives. PM me your name and address if you are interested.

Feb 10 and waiting. Webform a week ago and called Friday. PC hotel voucher disappeared and subsequent PC+ vouchers also not showing. Although "up to 21 days" hasn't hit for PC+, QF sent the email saying you have vouchers.
