Re: Red planet research - online surveys for QFF points

Had an email yesterday for "Project Whistle" and when I clicked on the link 24 hours later:

Thank you for being willing to share your opinions with us today. Unfortunately we have now filled our target groups for this particular survey.

Bugger (better get in quicker) :(

Re: Red planet research - online surveys for QFF points

Just invited to participate in a new survey (first for a while) by the name of 'Project Pay B' regarding business payments received via online means, with 200 points on offer
.. Didn't make the cut unfortunately and booted out after a couple of preliminary responses.

Got an invite to participate in this survey, yesterday.

Email received at 2:09pm, saw it immediately. Had to make a phone call, but decided to try it at approx 2:20pm.

Got the "Sorry our quota has been filled due to the popularity of this survey, thank you"

Re: Red planet research - online surveys for QFF points

Well finally. First survey to complete since Oct 16. Money matters 2 for 300 points. Just banks & their services & they concentrated on banks I don't use. Odd I was accepted as I was booted from the 1st Money Matters in Nov 16.

Just did Project Cheers 2 for 250pts Survey about a beer brand that has minimal market share outside of the Victorian market... surprised I qualified

I was screened out of that one...which is odd considering I do drink beer!

Re: Red planet research - online surveys for QFF points

Just got screened out of Project Sweet - which seemed to be a NZ company.

Got screened out cause I hadn't consumed confectionary in the last 3 months!

I'm shocked! :)

Re: Red planet research - online surveys for QFF points

Got another offer "Project H20" which was Kantar Marketing on behalf of Brisbane City Council. Even though I only got the survey 50 mins ago, I got the dreaded:

The survey is now closed due to overwhelming responses from people like yourself.

Then the next screen:
Thank you for being willing to share your opinions with us today. Unfortunately we have now filled our target groups for this particular survey.

I think they should have said overwhelming number of responses, because I'm sure the responses would have been underwhelming :D

Not a good looking set of servey results:

Hey! I finally got a survey that I could fill out! H20 - exciting for people who wash dogs I guess.

Dear QF WP,

Your application to join the discussion in the grammar thread has been approved.

Re: Red planet research - online surveys for QFF points

Thanks JT, but I'll pass - too frustrating and morose to keep reading about all the people in the world who can't spell and don't know correct grammar.

I'll just keep waiting on a Red Planet offer that I can complete and get some points.

Re: Red planet research - online surveys for QFF points

Screened out of Project Boating today. Makes sense, when I don't boat.

Re: Red planet research - online surveys for QFF points

all of a sudden i've had a few survey offers BUT now, 9 in a row that i've screened out on...weird

Why do you tell the truth to surveys? It's just about finding a persona that fits the brief to earn the points. I'm 47, tradesman, 4 children, like skiing, wind surfing, income $67K, have boats, super, shares, property, home, contents, income, life insurance, like water sports, travel...

Are you a non-smoker with a GSOH? If so you've just completed your dating profile. Expect heaps of responses from Svetlana and her friends.

I feel your pain:

Thank you for participating in our survey today. Our client requested that we speak to a certain sub-section of the population. To do this we usually ask a few screening questions at the beginning of the survey. In this instance you were not eligible for the survey.
Thank you for considering our survey. Your opinions are important to us and we hope that you will be able to offer them to us via our online surveys in the future.

and the next screen:

Thank you for being willing to share your opinions with us today. Unfortunately you don’t fit the criteria for this particular survey

Too honest for 150 QFF points...that's 7 surveys in a row for me and 8 out of the last 10.
