All was redeemed in the CL lounge this afternoon with fantastic squid. Perhaps it’s just regional differences and I was too harsh on SIN

SYD F lounge yesterday where they seemed to have just received a new order of chilli!

View attachment 1720513917003.pngUnusually broad and large squid pieces in SYD tonight, but still as tender and tasty as ever. Washed down with the good but not great Lallier Champagne, which is sadly now the only one the lounge is offering.

Followed by the duck ragu, which was unexpectedly excellent.

Chili MIA in SYD yesterday, but otherwise good. The French special menu bouef bourguignon was impressive following this

Luke warm at best on the weekend at SYD with the green chilli dipping sauce ¼ full. I can do without the aioli to be honest but that dipping sauce is sensational, just not enough of it on the plate.

Sorry if this has been answered already, scrolling through the previous posts it seems hit and miss, but can I request the SnP squid or Pav during breakfast time?

It's my first time in the First Lounge tomorrow and I'm on the early EK departure to Christchurch.

You can request S&P closer to 11am. I've been successful on occasion around 10:45 but I'd say almost no chance prior to EK412.

I'll second the above. No bueno unless the time it's served is near bang on 11. Had the same experience in February before flying to Haneda.

Sorry guys and gals, I'm over S&P squid and am giving it a rest. I find it fills me up too much for the other goodies to come. Perhaps after a while I may go back.
