Re: Qf akl-per

Well Perth, you get a new service. Support it and it will stay or might even be extended to more weekly service. If you don't support it, it is justifying QFs decision to withdraw services

Re: Qf akl-per

Loaded.

QF111 PER-AKL dep 2030 arr 0750+1 Fr, Sa
QF112 AKL-PER dep 1140 arr 1405 Sa Su

These are very similarly timed to the Air NZ flights, I would have thought they would do something a bit different - a redeye with an arrival in AKL at 0750 (which would feel like 0250) is not that appealing to me. In my opinion, this was one issue with the Air NZ service.

Re: Qf akl-per

It heartens me to think QF is looking to increase Intl routes after all the reductions in recent years.
Assume they must have spare capacity already in the form of A380 and A330 for the extra HKG and AKL services?

Re: Qantas International Rediscovers Perth

Red Roo,
Yippee, a second international destination on QF metal from Perth.
I'm doing handstands:)
How about Perth - Tokyo returning this summer too for the ski season?
These flights used to be packed over summer.
Regards
Captain Paul

Forget Tokyo for skiing. Even better, fly into KIX. Not far from Hakuba. If you are going to Niseko you need another flight anyway :)
