Did anyone else get their rolled over status credits removed on Tuesday evening, then returned on Wednesday morning?

This appeared on my QFF activity statement as:

STATUS SUPPORT - STATUS CREDIT ROLLOVER ERROR REVERSAL -250

Was fixed up on Wednesday and the 250 SCs restored.

While I was expecting to receive 250SCs from the status credit rollover offer, I heard Qantas may have given some people too many status credits via the rollover, and also extended some people's status who weren't entitled to this because they didn't book any new flights. So perhaps they decided to fix this up by removing everyone's rollover SCs and status extension and re-doing everything.

Same here, except that I lost 110 SC in the process, as expected.

April 1st - 500 SC added (QF April Fools Joke)
April 6th - 500 SC removed
April 7th - 22 SC added

All a bit pointless really. I liked those 500 SC going in there. Put me tantalisingly close to LG.

This happened to me (I had earnt 500 SCs so expected to keep them)

However they've now removed the initial transaction and the reversal (ie, not +500, -500 then +500 as it happened)

For those that lost SCs, do you see all three transactions still?

I will admit I have become quite confused with the status boost and roll over. Reading the posts on this thread it would seem like QF are rolling forward SCs a predetermined amount in my case 1800SC. The reason I am confused is that I interpreted the QF Nov 20 announcements as as status boost of 1800SC and any SC I earnt during my 20/21 year (about 500) would be added on top. I was assuming I would be starting the 21/22 year with about 2300 SC's. From the above posts I think I may be starting my new year with around 500SC.

Does this sound correct based on other experience. In the bigger scheme of things I am not that fussed I was just hoping to stretch P1 for an extra year through to 2023. It was going to end at some point.

It's two completely separate initiatives

2020/21 membership year - fly once, get extended for the 2021/22 year (no SCs awarded for this part)
2020/21 membership year - eligible SCs up to the maximum limit roll over to 2021/22 membership year

The first addresses low SCs in the 20/21 year, the second gives you a little boost for 21/22.

Thanks, I have (will have) the extension based on the one flight and a few others. The second will be now lower than I originally thought soit is my time to say goodbye to QF P1 through to 2023. I cannot really complain I have been P1 from 2013-21 and an extra year for one flight through to 2022, it had to happen at some point.

Most P1 and I’m guessing you are the same as me re-qualify largely through international travel.
We have absolutely zero chance of doing so in 2021-2022 qualifying period.
I would be astonished if we don’t see another round of extensions/ support.

Yes international plays (had played) a large part.

Did the 250SC include any DSC? Just wondering as QF said no DSC will roll over but you never know....

Goos, question, suspect yes. It all depends on what QF class as a "bonus". and what they class as "earned through flying". I suspect DSCs, which you don't get unless you fly, would qualify, unlike loyalty bonuses which aren't directly tied to flights.
Which Status Credits count towards the rollover?
Status credits earned through flying or with our partners on the ground will count towards the rollover. Status Credits provided by Qantas as a bonus, support or gift will not count towards the rollover.
cheers skip

Husband received status credits and then taken away not to be returned
I will do the one flight for requalification. I doubt 2022 will have us requalifying. We also travel internationally with very few domestic

I do/used to do a mix - domestic for work and international for family visits and holiday/travel. Now there’s no international and most of my work travel has died. I’ll be struggling for requal in 2022 as well. I was pretty grateful to get the one flight extension on 31 March this year but won’t get much value out of it given limited flying. Last year I requal on paid flying and took only 2 flights in the whole year - to Coolangatta and back 😕

Yes.

Just wondering as QF said no DSC will roll over but you never know....

Qantas didn't say that bonus status credits earned from a DSC offer wouldn't roll over, in fact I specifically asked and they said these would roll over. The bonus (free) SC from the Status Support offers don't roll over.

I'll be interested to see what rollover I end up getting later in the year.

It seems likely that international travel won't resume when QF hopes in October. I suspect there will be a further status extension and/or incentives for people to do international travel on QF marketed and operated flights once they resume through DSC (or similar) and/or other offers that help retain/regain status.

Enjoy the current extension and rollover and see what happens closer to status expiry.

I always find it portentous that my reversals take place on 1 April. This year, Qantas really got my hopes up - then dashed them to the ground...

Expired SC -910. But then, status support 500SC - so happy. Then followed on 6 April with -500 SC, but +10 SC you win some, you lose some, and in this case I lost quite a lot. Mind you, I also gained quite a lot of SCs from StatusKeeper, so overall, a good result for me, despite the roller coaster ride.

Newbie here, just chipping in here with my experience of this situation...

Friday Apr 2: 250 SC rollover
Tuesday Apr 6: Error reversal (-250 SC )
Tuesday Apr 6: 50 SC rollover

Has there been official confirmation from Qantas, here on AFF or anywhere else, as to why this error occurred?
