re: Qantas SYD&MEL to SIN $510 ret ($410 through .br site)

I think I saw an April date when I did a dummy booking.
The dates I want in April would not be on sale if tickets originate in Australia.

Anyone know how to get the Expedia
site into English

You can use Google Chrome which will ask you if you want to translate the page automatically.

Booked 2 tickets for May PER to SIN for $500 each at Expedia Brazil. No $400 for the dates I needed but still a great bargain.

re: Qantas SYD&MEL to SIN $510 ret ($410 through .br site)

Great find.

Is it possible to book this prom SIN-MEL one way? I cant seem to find the fare originating in SIN

Paging markis10 :D

After our heated debate on the cheapy Scoot ticket thread, these ~$410 deals ex-AUS to SIN returns with QF are extremely good value. Its a no-brainer now to book these deals and as low as I have ever seen them.

Thanks for sharing the BR Expedia site. Was thinking of a scoot deal but these QF are a no brainer for an AFFer

Indeed, considering you earn enough points to cash in for a $125 gift card from them (worst value redemption) ;), I was happy having paid $550 for my two booked earlier this year.

Not for AA flyers as QF fares book into N class. (ie only credit to QF)
Air Asia X seems to be the least expensive with general availability at the moment. Though I will look at Scoot eventually.

Happy wandering

I have tried everything but cannot get this to work. As you know I have a SYD-SIN already booked in April and I have been able to allocate a seat in premium economy on an economy ticket for that flight and I can move that flight to another date but that will cost change fees and any change in fare.

Now I need to book another SYD-SIN return for May-July which is only ~AUD600 on Qantas Singapore website but for a few dollars more I have been able to come up with this "doozy" of a routing which earns 150SCs and ~27,000 QFF points.

You need to play around a bit...I couldn't find the fare but then starting looking at MEL-SIN and indirect flights and then somehow landed upon the above fare SYD-SIN by modifying the booking.

Add a walkabout option into the fare ex SIN, makes for some cheap domestic options.

re: Qantas SYD&MEL to SIN $510 ret ($410 through .br site)

just took the plunge and booked a weekend up to SIN around anzac day. approx. $410 each using brazil expedia and got a call within 2 minutes from citibank security team to confirm the transaction (thank you citiselect for some bonus points).

was going to use SQ miles to go up there in a suite but for $200 each way it seems like too good of a deal to pass up.

only downside is i see they are now flying the route using an A330

re: Qantas SYD&MEL to SIN $510 ret ($410 through .br site)

Booked a weekend in SIN for approx $420. One leg being QF9 on one of its final trips to boot! May be my last A380 trip for a long time.

Massive thanks for the heads up :)

I'm doing it wrong ... when I use the Brazilian site it's coming up >$2000 for me in Y to HKG

re: Qantas SYD&MEL to SIN $510 ret ($410 through .br site)

Just booked SYD-SIN-SYD, depart 25 April returning 29 April for R816. Now just need to find some cheap 5 star hotel, Marina Bay Sands at $326AUD per night is just too expensive for me. Are there any good threads on this site find cheap 5 star accommodation?

re: Qantas SYD&MEL to SIN $510 ret ($410 through .br site)

We liked the grand hyatt singapore, but we were staying using points redemption and I was upgraded free also - from just normal club room to a suite - so that room and service was great. The hotel is near to where people like to shop IE: ION building and the East West Plaza?? - we didn't like the ION mall, for the same reasons I don't like bondi westfield but I believe we are considered odd for not wanting every third store to be the same.
I do believe there is a thread on 5 star singapore hotels but I'm not well today so looking for it is beyond me.

I wish I had of seen this thread about 5 hours ago. I saw the sale briefly but didn't pay much attention as it wasn't a whole lot cheaper than normal return pricing, cheaper but not enough to get me excited - but the prices mentioned above... damn I would have liked those!
