Qantas SYD&MEL to SIN $510 ret ($410 through .br site)

I got an email from Expedia Br asking me to call them regarding my recent purchase of tickets to Asia on Qantas from Australia. Should I be concerned? My reservation shows as ticketed and confirmed on the QF site.

It's because it's a foreign flight ticketed through a foreign website - it flags some "potential fraud" alert.

I actually had my original booking cancelled. They rebooked it without any issue though.

I have just booked my first .br flights, and CC worked first time.
$417 MEL-KUL ret. with EK.

Good deal. What travel dates, if it's not too intrusive to ask?

Looking for fares to KUL next Jan for Mum. Of course that's peak, but it seems you can get EK return for just over $700 (ex MEL only, so Mum would also require positioning), but that doesn't require any Real tricks.

Mid November - booked with one night's accommodation. ;)

Maybe just use British Virgin Islands, the APIS info you can enter anyway on the QF website.

Note that "United Kingdom" in Portuguese is "Reino Unido".

Just to give you all hope booked on .br MEL-LHR for Mrs Ansett and I departing tomorrow and was under $1400 return each flying on QF and have now been upgraded to J :D so cheap tickets and upgrades can indeed work :D

I assume a points upgrade? Would you mind sharing:

Which class was it in? If not upgradeable class, was it part of the recent upgrade promo? What was the points/cash cost of the upgrade?

It is a points Upgrade and we were booked in O class on the way over and S class on the return and we were able to request an upgrade at time of booking from MMB. :D I assume that it must have been during a promo.

That was mentioned (quite) a few pages back. Find the cheapest room you can, and there will be a discount that should outweigh the cost of the accommodation.

Quick question, have people been notifying the accommodation provider that they are going to be a no show (if in fact you are!)? And if so what has been there response generally?
