Probably answered, but can you book a hotel stay that is shorter than the length of your trip (i.e. length in days between outbound and inbound flights)?

Also, the feature to book hotel and flight together seems not to work if you are looking at flights with a stay period of greater than a month. Unless I'm doing something wrong.

Yes you can. After you do the original search for 'Hotel + Voo' change the date in the top left corner as that is the hotel dates section. Make sure you have 1 pax in the original search or your flights will seem a bit dear.

I have found the same thing.

I have found the same thing.

On the home page there is a check box marked: Preciso de um hotel para apenas parte de minha viagem, clicking the box will allow for you to enter different hotel dates to the air travel.

If I book a hotel eg Conrad Singapore with a flight, can I add my HHonors numbet eg by ringing the hotel or giving it at checkin to get Diamond benefits? ....the room booked with the flight is much cheaper than booking on the HHonors website.

You can add your HH number to the booking, in the notes/requests section, on Expedia.br and you will receive Diamond benefits BUT you won't receive any HH points for the stay. I did this same thing and wondered afterwards if I should have tried a price match.

I find it really interesting that Qantas still tolerates this trick after all this time. We know they can fix the error at any time as they've already done with certain routes. Maybe the number of bookings aren't yet affecting their bottom line but with this trick getting more and more popular by the day surely it's only a matter of time.

I suspect the same so everyone should just make hay while the sun shines!

Actually, you are not even entitled to diamond benefits, by the rule of the program.
If you got them before, then Conrad SIN may be being generous but just more that they are under no obligation to do so.

Some interesting PE and J fares in the mix.

I'd assume it'd just be the same method as the fares we know well, i.e. you just don't pay for the fuel. So it has a lessened effect overall but otherwise still a saving.

I might be doing something wrong but can/how I do Mel-sin cup weekend, 1 night hotel stay then return say 6 months out?

Already have the return booked from an earlier.br fare.

Might even be cheesier to do Mel-per-sin?!
