I am sitting in my hotel room in sgn with my 12yr old son, taking him on his first Asian adventure. All thanks to these fares, I am so grateful for aff.

Some interesting PE and J fares in the mix.

This thread is so useful, thanks to everyone for sharing. Did anyone manage to get the hotel in the mix with PE and J fares? When I tried, it seemed to default back to discount economy fare. Thanks.

I might be doing something wrong but can/how I do Mel-sin cup weekend, 1 night hotel stay then return say 6 months out?

Already have the return booked from an earlier.br fare.

Might even be cheesier to do Mel-per-sin?!

ISTR that when you specify you want hotel+voo it tells you the maximum stay away is 26 nights.

Yep, worked that out after. I was seeing fly over on the Sautrday then come back Sunday or Monday with a stay at Crowne Plaza for under $600... Unfortunately doesn't suit me

I have the same problem. The search from the packages screen only offers discount Y, so I tried on the results page after searching a W fare. It then goes back to discount Y so the hotel trick only works for Y-. Oh well, $450 for SYD-SIN rt is a bargain. I can just cross fingers for a points upgrade for QF6.

Nice, thanks Danger! Pity I can't get it to give me options for CGK... I've tried it from MEL & SYD, and various dates, but nothing! I'm due their in March.

How about flying MEL-SIN return in J for about $2600 and then getting JQ connections SIN-CGK which are about $50 per way ?

I booked a PER-SIN-PER in the last sale in O. It's now about $150 cheaper.

Does anyone have experience with cancelling an O booking with .br? Is the penalty the same as doing it on a booking made with QF (ie. about $80)? After seeing a thread saying the PER-SIN had been re-timed I was hoping to use the "the new schedule doesn't suit me" trick for a full refund but it seems the re-time ends in March, thereafter returning to the regular departure time.

I gave up trying to speak to someone in English!

Anyone looking to book out of BNE for long weekends with a stopover on the way out in Sydney F lounge on the 747 (QF5 afternoon flight),

Easter (Good Friday to Easter Monday) is available for $513 ($50 cheaper direct)
Anzac Day long weekend is available at $513 ($50 cheaper direct)
Combined (Good Friday to Sunday after Anzac Day) 9 days for $513 ($50 cheaper direct)
Queens Birthday is $463 ($450 direct)
EKKA time is $463 ($450 direct)

Just booked another 2 to go with the 3 I already had booked previously. Flown 2 of them with a WP, all public holiday weekends, have had 2xPE OpUps and 1xBusiness OpUp and the other front row Economy 3 seats between 2 on the 747. Cheap prices, good on FF points and SC's and high hit rate at OpUp's on Public/School holidays.

I gave up trying to speak to someone in English!

I had to make a change on a booking and the first agent I spoke with spoke fluent English and was amazingly helpful, all changed in one call of about 10 minutes! I was dreading the call but must have got lucky!
