You'll have to find someone who is willing enough to take control of the ticket from expedia

given it's 081 ticket stock someone should eventually do it...

You should be fine. I have one I want to cancel, and I'm not game to call up to deal with someone in Portuguese!

Any educated guesses for what I might get back off a $250-350 AUD Per-Sin fare?

QF should be launching a taste of Asia sale tomorrow for travel from feb! fares should be interesting.

Is Expedia still the website to source for cheaper tickets from Singapore to London or Singapore to Kathmandu return ?

Never has been. Only has ever been good for flights originating in Australia.

Haha I think you will find there won't be much residual value... :(

Looks like it's not happening, they launched a travel, agents incentive but the only sale on is domestic.

By way of update on my dad's itinerary:

Called Qantas yesterday and spoke to a fine man who reiterated that they were not able to touch the e-ticket due to it being issued by another agent (Expedia). Well, apparently the agents don't like it (messes with their commission) if they take complete control (frankly I wouldn't have minded that).

Anyway, we found an option to move the affected flights back three days, which was fine with my Dad. Same flights, same timings. He put in an itinerary change request (via Qantas), which was immediately effected on the PNR (using CheckMyTrip and Qantas MMB), however he did say that Expedia will need to be contacted / will need to contact us to re-issue the e-ticket.

Called Expedia Brazil last night and finally got the agent to see what appeared to her to be the change request to the new day (three days before), which appeared to be buried amongst all the other change requests and old protection flights. I told her that the changed flights were consented to. After that followed an hour and a bit of the agent apparently trying to get onto Qantas to finalise the change (something related to recalculating the fare; again, probably their commission). After being dropped twice and being too early in the morning, I resigned that effort.

Checked itinerary on Expedia Brazil website this morning, and it appears the new itinerary has been effected. The signs all say "Confirmed". I'm thinking this should be enough, and I shouldn't have to contact Expedia Brazil again. (I hope they won't cancel the e-ticket).

Is $730 a reasonable price ? That's one way from Sydney to Singapore on SIA A380 Y class in March.

One way is always expensive. Scoot is $400 cheaper but it's the chance to fly A380.

Now that my Holidays are confirmed booked to accompany partner, SYD-SIN-DEL; BOM-HKG-SYD. With QF and 9W all QF codeshare. $835

I notice the cheaper flights from PER-SIN are no longer available on the br site. Any chance we might see those fares again...or have I missed the boat!
