I think they might have blocked us from booking this. Been trying on Expedia and Decolar and failing miserably. Booked successfully 5 times previously with my 28 Degrees mastercard. The error I keep getting isn't from the payment gateway but from Expedia telling me that my credit card is a debit card... Same thing happened when I tried my HSBC Platinum Visa and the Jetstar Mastercard... :(

Yes, once I'd determined availability with matrix.itasoftware.com

can you plz tell me if matrix.itasoftware.com is for seat availability?
I can see QF flights in matrix.ita site price are higher than expedia br site... but not all flights are shown in expedia br....

People have had issues with their 28 degrees card in the past. Can't speak for the other cards, maybe it triggered something.

No I am not experiencing any error. But after QF sale ended, the cheap tickets seems gone and cannot find any bargain. On top of it, Declolar seem to have very expensive charge and fees during ticket purchase (not the first page showing price all inclusive - but it's not).

does it not say "to include taxes" alongside the price quoted on the first page?

to include taxes = tax not yet included? my bad english...
but there is not much point to show the list of search results of prices WITHOUT fees and taxes in search results as they are not final price to compare..... In that sense, expedia br is friendlier and easier to navigate.

Hi guys.

I was having a quick look at expedia brazil, but the prices for qantas are the same as on qantas.com.au. Am I doing anything incorrectly? Even searching matrix.ita and setting the city to Rio, Brazil doesn't help with cheaper prices.

I don't know how you searched, but I just picked 2 random dates next year in discount economy, and expedia is about $400 cheaper than qantas.com.au (~$2,400 versus just over $2,800). I used xe.com for currency conversion.

I must be doing something wrong, because the prices show up as the same more or less. For dates mid April - May 2014 I am getting ~2,800 after conversion, which is the same as qantas.com.au

I wonder if there why this isn't working?

Expedia.com.br doesn't seem too flash when trying to get the direct CX PER-HKG & HKG-PER flights. :(

No idea! I just picked a couple of dates in April next year; didn't do anything special...

Maybe you picked school holiday period or Easter when prices are at a premium? I checked with random dates and it was $300 cheaper. JoyV

Probably!

$300 is around a 12% price difference. While not quite like around the 20% it was when this thread started but still...

20% ?
My flights were $420 return to SIN and the same flights/dates on QF website was $798.
I'm not a mathematician but that looks like a touch more than 20% lol

I recall Qantas had them on special in between $500 and $600. I recall the difference was around the $100 mark, hence the 20% I was referring to.

Has anyone else had 2 payments go through for this fare?

I had a $50 one go through, but the remainder hasn't hit my card yet. When I look on the website payment history, it says

Kind of hoping I don't turn up to the airport and not have a valid ticket! Says confirmed on QF and checkmytrip websites.
