This is A330 issues - tbh i am glad they are cutting it for now, the A330 reliability are downright shocking bad!
Another thing to consider MEL-DEL can seemingly only be operated by the 8 extended-range A330-200s (EBM-EBV) whilst SYD-BLR can also be done by the A330-300s so that extends the pool of aircraft to 18. In that sense I can understand why they chose MEL-DEL to be cut.
Beyond the A330 reliability right now, I think the A330-200 refurbishment program is meant to be 'mid-year' so that'd take an extra aircraft out of service as well.
