Still waiting on this one...
If it's anything like project sunrise, the time between QF announcing something and implementing is at least a decade

Still waiting on this one...
It'll open when the HBA VA lounge opensThe original announcement from last year said this is scheduled to launch in mid-2021. So, I would expect to see something around July.
I wonder if this will launch before or after Virgin's Melbourne lounge renovations are completed (also due in "mid-2021").
The first parts are probably very likely based on existing AF/KLM arrangement with ALL Accor (see my post #11 on this thread for links).I think this would only be exciting if you earnt QF points as well as Accor points, reciprocal status earn from stays or flights or status matching
This was scheduled for mid-2021, but as it is sort of getting past that point now, hopefully there will be more news soon. I hope I'm wrong, but suspect when it does finally launch it might be rather underwhelming.Still waiting on this one...
Maybe they are waiting until post lockdowns and travel ramping up again to announce something, which makes sense. This was scheduled for mid-2021, but as it is sort of getting past that point now, hopefully there will be more news soon. I note one of the prizes from the current vaccination competition is Accor points so Qantas must have negotiated the terms of the expanded partnership by now.
Members who link their accounts will be rewarded at home, on the journey, at the destination and back again with bonus points, status upgrade offers and much more. Their every need will be anticipated with unique experiences, personalised services and premium events.

Status credits for stays would likely make sense given the trend towards on the ground status earning.
No worries, get enough and you can transfer to.Velocity.I had a look at my Accor ALL account a few weeks ago, and there is no where that I can find, to add my QFF number

I am keen to keep points in QFF rather than in Accor, where points expire if no activity for a year, as in this past 18 months we have had, its been hard to fly freely, without states going into lock down, and hotels being used as medihotels/quaro hotels.
Booking with Accor also gets that 10% discount, which is a good thing, ...
Only thing I don't agree with/like with Accor is their points expiry for "no activity".
(OR), maybe the Accor ALL system tie in with QFF is not the way my brain is thinking about how it works, ie, its not a "transfer" of points from Accor ALL to QFF.
Edit: Ah, I see, the "loyalty agreement" hasn't commenced/started yet.
During the past year I’ve done this by completing surveys. Each one has reset the 12 months.

YMMV.
So they (Accor ALL) have gotten in a tie with ClubOpinions, better than the other group aka e-Rewards.You can add your QF number transfer to QFF.
You can also keep your points alive with other account activity.
