Qantas to launch in-depth partnership with Accor ALL

Thanks for the tip, I just signed up to ALL and linked QF :)

So, according to the promo, any QF Gold & above, PC Plus will be elevated to ALL Silver once they spend 1 night in any of the ALL Hotels. PC members will be elevated to Silver after they spend 2 nights in any of the ALL Hotels. Good that I'm QF WP, which means I need to spend a night to become ALL Silver and earn some QF points too. Good deal !

I note that a linked member cannot earn ALL points from Qantas flights unless they have status of at least ALL Gold or Qantas Platinum.
5.2 When taking an Eligible Flight that is both marketed by Qantas and operated by Qantas, Linked Members will earn:(a) the Qantas Points and status credits that are usually earned by QFF Members on completing an Eligible Flight in accordance with the QFFP Terms; and(b) Reward points that will be credited to their ALL Loyalty Programme account as set out in the table below:
TierReward Points earned per $10 (AUD) of Eligible Spend (Flights)
Classic Members of ALL Silver Members of ALLnil
Qantas Bronze, Silver and Gold QFF Membersnil
Gold Members of ALL1
Platinum, Diamond and above Members of ALL2
Qantas Platinum and above QFF Members2

Oh, that’s an enhancement to the AF/KLM model!

Fortunately I’m Accor Gold and QF WP….

There could be value in buying Accor ALL Gold via Ibis Biz (€90 per year).

Ironically, it won’t let me signup. I probably have to unlink my AF account - if that’s possible…

That part of the partnership is a joke anyway. Max 3c worth of ALL points per $10 spent on flights.....

The real benefit is 3 QFF per $1 at Accor properties while also earning status benefits. You could previously have one but not the other if booking through Qantas Hotels, now you can have both.

  • Fast track to an Accor ALL status level (silver) with little/no value to any real traveller.

Is silver really worth it? Their hotel brands are a bit meh….. some nice M Galleries though for sure.

Thank you @dairyfloss !!

Better than nothing I suppose.

Linking doesn't work for me, but does work on my wife's account, which has had to have historical name changes, so go figure.
