This is very attractive to me .
? a mistake.
If so can they weasel their way out of it?
I am a bit sad to see no offer of status with card usage.

Looks like the press release has been updated from 5 to 1.5 for overseas transactions.

Don't think this card distinguishes itself apart from whats already available out there, its a pity they had an opportunity to offer something more unique.

Complimentary Travel Insurance cover is provided by Chubb, some people who do Amex's Travel insurance I believe.

Yes , I saw that as well - 5pt/$ for international spend

If it's not, what a let-down . I can already get 2 points/$ on my Amex.

I certainly hope the QF team are reading this thread so that they can get an idea of how disappointing this product is:

- No SC sign-on bonus
- No Apple Pay
- No earn on government spend
- No fee-free first year
- No special perks compared to other products on market
- Average QFF sign-on bonus
- Average QFF earn rate

My money is on another boring, cookie-cutter card.

The rest I expect to be reasonably boring like X Qantas Lounge visits, X parking coupons, x% bonus points on qantas flights etc.
The card will need 1:1 earn to be competitive so I'd expect this rate.
