What annoys me about this is that I haven't been invited to any event as a WP1 but you can go to this event if you win on Twitter.

It seems if you are a WP1 in Adelaide there are no event invites.

I didn't see the tweet for 5 minutes so all places were full.

Have you emailed platinumone? They are great and as helpful as they can be. They might be able to direct you what to update in your profile to have a better hit rate. At least open the dialogue and share with them what you would be willing bring to the party (i.e. if you got an invite to the F1 would you be willing to pay for your own flights?)

Yes unfortunately QF confirmed it on twitter :-( although I just booked a Yasa to MEL and a Jasa back to BNE and used points+pay ala AFF advice. Not sure lunch is really worth the points but I had nothing planned for the day.

Agree ... I made a booking for HOTP as HSW is too expensive (and I'm at HSW later in the week anyway..). I may need to get back to SYD for Saturday night though (although the meal won't compare I am sure).
