Qantas Upgrades - Successes or Failures (post results)

Re: QF Upgrade Success Rate

Upgrade from Y>J for QF82 SIN-SYD tomorrow confirmed by the upgrade tsar at T-27.5. Managed to snag my favourite suite as well, which is rare, this close to a flight. Unfortunately, it is operated this time by an A332 and so it will mean sleeping on leather and having just one loo, but hey - still beats what looks a very busy Y cabin.

Just over
93% for upgrades as WP.

Cheers,
Matt.

Re: QF Upgrade Success Rate

Upgraded to J from Y Red-e deal this morning on QF1501. Flight very full, so operational upgrade maybe. I think my first ever with QF.
Safe travels.

An SMS we all love to see - received at T-27 for a humble Silver (and looks like last available J seat on the A332 according to seat map)

We are pleased to confirm your Upgrade Reward request to Business on QF582 from PER to SYD on 29MAR at 13:50. Thank you for flying Qantas!

Now flying pretty much weekly BNE-MEL-BNE so decided to submit a bid for flights to and from this week. Semi-flex, SG, min 3000 points and $70. 7:00 tomorrow bid accepted. Not a great use of points or cash but what the heck. Got plenty to burn. Someone else can have 14C.

J to F QF7 SYD-DFW 7 days out. Must be few P1's on board, emerald city now has a few spare seats.

I also got my return trip from LHR confirmed at just over 7 days out. There was only one new seat occupied in F so might have been more lightly loaded with P1

Y classic flight reward -> J on QF83 from SYD to HKG granted at T-29. Was quite happy even though it was expensive in terms of points given that its during the Easter holiday period.

Was auto allocated 4A which makes it even better.

Declined Y->J for QF3 SYD-HNL on 1 April.
Success Y->J for QF4 HNL-SYD on 12 April. Didn't expect that as roughly the same amount of J/Y seats left so very welcome :)
