Received my complimentary membership renewal today. Email said it was complimentary as I had made a purchase in the last 12 months. So seems as though the bar for renewal isn't being set too high.

That's what I got last year. I've made a purchase in this membership year so I guess I'll get free renewal, which should be next month since I signed up at the BNE Good Food and Wine Show.

DMs is pretty consistently cheaper with all the cash back, 3points per dollar and 5% off.

Same for me. Pretty standard marketing tactics though, entice you at the start with some good offers and a bonus, then gradually ratchet up the prices over time in the hope people won't notice. Seems to work for enough people to make it a worthwhile strategy.

Had it quite a number of times but it's an ordinary drop IMHO. Don't like the large bottle size (same as the Balthazar).

I'd chose the Amberley Merlot or De Bertoli Shiraz first...my personal preferences though

I agree about the bottle size. It's a real PITA to fit these bottles in the wine fridge

I just booked the Penfolds event at Rockpool Sydney. I am yet to be disappointed with an Epiqure dinner yet although I have only ever done two , being Spice Temple and Krug dinner at Guillame

booked Penfolds for Brisbane - same. have always had great Epique dinners. Points have already posted to my FF account
