Qantas Wine latest offering

Ah thanks. I'd been holding off as I was waiting for a free membership promo to pop up but I've seen nothing this year. Time to cough up.

They now have a broker service that is quite good, so if you're looking to order, call up and they may assist

Not sure I understand the "fake metal boarding pass" quip @Steady. Interesting but I don't need 7K bonus points at the moment, had 3 dozen quaffers arrive last week and no room in the fridges.

Think there was a thread the other day where an AFF'er noted that a relative who had been a QF FF from day one but rarely flew these days received a thank you letter and a metal boarding pass acknowledging 30 years.

My premium membership expires tomorrow, and I can't see the value in renewing so probably won't.

While I still have the membership, I might as well stock up on some wine!

A bottle of wine or a fake metal boarding pass....

I was actually thinking about getting this deal (either just the shiraz or the mixed shiraz/chardonnay case). Does anyone know if these wines are any good?

Got the same...only about three hours after an email from Amex offering me the same due to the QF Ultimate card. I think I made one purchase from them in the last 12 months. Go figure. That's considered loyal apparently :)

Yes, those to whom Qantas don't offer complimentary membership - assuming they perceive value.

I'm sure they are using their data gathered from our membership details, purchases and searches to rank us and offer appropriate rewards.

Ever wished you could combine your love of travel with your love of buying wine?

Look who's hiring!

I'm sorely tempted myself but feel vastly overqualified givens they're only asking for 3 years' experience as a wine buyer ;-)

As an Epiqure quaffer specialist I’m all over this.....but my industry connections are limited to the bloke at my local Dan’s, the internet people at Vinomofo and all our friends from the AFF Wine Lovers threads.

Ditto with their Baby Bush Mourvedre - probably quaff 6 over xmas and stick 6 in the back of the cellar.....
Same, I took a case of Ned and Henry's. Was interested in the Baby Bush but the relatively young age of the vines put me off. Am I being silly? Please let me know what you think of the wine!
