'Exceptional Red Six'

33,600 points with the 'SAVE30' promo code + comes with a bonus 10,000 points

So net value 23,600pts.

I'm trying to reduce my wine purchasing but this seems too good to pass up right?

For me, too many ordinary wines in that bundle. Certainly not 'exceptional' in my view.

Don’t decrease your wine purchasing. Increase your wine consumption!!

Whilst that may work for 747s and other oversized birds, such advice may not be suitable for us fellow land based mammals, especially when it can be tricky to organize a fuel dump on land due to existing regulations. 😅

Noob question - which QF (Premium?) Wine deals/offers/promos usually give you SCs, in addition to Points? (CC @motef )

Anyone ever made good use of the spend $149 get $49 Qantas vouchers?

I grabbed 4 of them for $40, so $39 saving a voucher.

I imagine best to be used when Qantas does Buy 6, Get 6 Free?

I wouldn't mind some Standish for $120, but I can't find anything of value at $29 😂

I am not aware of those vouchers so not quite sure of the saving. You could try the Ironcloud Rock of Solitude Purple Patch GSM for $32. I think i had this a while ago and I thought it was delicious but YMMV.

Yeah, I bought them from a friend.

I'm unsure how he got them, I assume for free somehow. It's basically $49 with a $149 spend, but I paid $10 each.

Kinda annoying with minimum spend.

I'll look into the suggestion.

You might need to wait for some better deals to come up. Otherwise, not sure if Penfolds is included but you could get a bottle of 2017 RWT for $169. Less the $39 comes to $130. They have the 18 and 19 as well but more expensive.
